DIAMONDHEAD COUNTRY CLUB & PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION, INC. Financial Summary, May 31, 2019
LETTER FROM THE POA PRESIDENT The Diamondhead POA has been very active this past month and I want to take this time to reflect on the positive progress we’ve achieved to move our community forward. Father’s Day was a huge success at the Country Club with more than 200 reservations, making it our largest Father’s Day event in the history of the POA. We also had our first Blues and BBQ Night so thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate the start of Summer with us. It’s always our goal to make sure members love to live here in Diamondhead so we are constantly thinking of ways to update our amenities and provide new and exciting offerings for our community to enjoy. Be on the lookout for more local selections on the menu at 19th Hole Bar & Grill and stay tuned for some exciting new entertainment on Saturday nights. As always, we continue to place an emphasis on collection efforts for member dues and covenant enforcements, which maintains our property values and keeps up the appearances of our community. We are pushing towards 100% compliance, having brought 312 of the 328 violations into compliance to date. We are also proud of our collection efforts. As

of May 2019, we have received 106 payments for past due accounts, resulting in more than $242,560 collected. The POA has been gathering valuable data to better understand the needs and concerns of our POA members. We recently sent out a survey to gather feedback on several areas of interest, including roles and responsibilities of the POA and the City; the impact and perception of the impending expira-

The majority of the respondents had lived here in Diamondhead for 10 years or more and are active in our community with over 75% voting in the last election. From the survey results, we learned that a majority of residents believe that
the cost of POA dues are reasonable considering the value that the covenants and amenities provide. The survey results also reinforced to us that there is a big concern about the possibility of covenant expiration and that members need and want more information about the plans and the options moving forward.
