ALUMNI DANIEL E. STEWART ’38 – March 5, 2017. Daniel is survived by two daughters, Diane and Mary; one son, Daniel Jr.; four granddaughters; and a sister, Dene. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy, and a brother, Peter. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Fort Wayne, Ind. EDWARD J. CHEVALIER JR. ’40 – February 20, 2016. Ed is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret. A memorial service was celebrated at St. Fabian Catholic Church, Farmington Hills, Mich. WILLIAM G. BRANIECKI ’45 – August 19, 2014. William is survived by his wife, Theresa, two children, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. The Funeral Mass was celebrated at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Bloomfield Hills, Mich. DR. GEORGE T. CALEEL ’45 – February 18, 2017. George is survived by his wife, Rebecca; sons, Dr. George Sarkis and Dr. Tamer George; four grandchildren; and a brother, Dr. Richard Caleel ’54. Services were entrusted to Sullivan Funeral Home, Hinsdale, Ill. RICHARD MURPHY ’45 – July 1, 2017. He is survived by six children, Richard ’69, Mary, Megan, Christopher ’75, Peter ’77, and Patrick ‘79; 19 grandchildren; 9 greatgrandchildren; his brother, Gene ‘46; and his sister, Rita Poprick. Richard was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Shirley, and granddaughter Laura. The Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Francis Church, Ann Arbor, Mich.

KENNETH C. McGUIRE ’47 – May 31, 2017. Kenneth is survived by his brother, Lawrence, and many extended family members. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna; a brother, John; and two sisters, Barbara and Mary Lou. The Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Malachy Church, Sterling Heights, Mich. STANLEY E. KRZEMINSKI ’49 – November 5, 2016. Stanley is survived by his wife, Jeanette. The Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Lucy Catholic Church, St. Clair Shores, Mich. JAMES J. REILLY ’50 – March 27, 2017. Jim is survived by his wife, Sue; children, Colleen, James Jr., Russell, Michael, and Barbara; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Timothy. RICHARD V. GIACOBBI ’52 – June 5, 2017. Richard is survived by five children, Dick, Marie, Cathy, Bob, and Tom, and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo, and a son, Anthony. VINCENT L. SHEERAN ’52 – September 6, 2016. The funeral service was held at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Mich. REV. GORDON S. “MICKEY” ROSE ’53 – March 6, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Carol; two sons, James and Michael; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard, Donald, and Tom. The Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Old Hickory, Tenn. JOHN C. “JACK” KELLY ’54 – April 22, 2017. Jack is survived by his wife, Julie; his children, John and Kathy; and four grandchildren.
THOMAS A. McAULIFFE ’55 – April 23, 2017. Thomas is survived by four children, Michael, Mathew, Judy, and Pat, and six grandchildren. Interred at Holy Sepulcher Catholic Cemetery, Southfield, Mich. DAVID A. YOUNG ’55 – January 10, 2017. David is survived by his wife, Mary; his son, Rev. David Young; his daughters, Elise and Mary; two grandchildren; two brothers; and many nieces and nephews. PATRICK J. CARMODY ’56 – November 27, 2016. Patrick is survived by his wife, Virginia; his children, Bridget and Kevin; a sister, Lynn; and five grandchildren. Tom is survived by his children, Sally, Susan, Tom, Mark, Jill, and David; nine grandchildren; and two brothers, including Robert ’54, and one sister. He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine. George is survived by his wife, Millie; his son, Kevin; his sister, Mary; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey, and his brother, Frederick ’54.
