2006 – NICK SALEH (Salley) was sworn in to the federal bar before the Hon. Sean Cox ’75 on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, in his courtroom in the Theodore S. Levin U.S. District Courthouse for the Eastern District of Michigan. Nick practices law for Deborah Gordon’s law firm in Bloomfield Hills. (photo next column)

2011 – MICHAEL TOLKACZ was named co-captain for the Men’s Soccer Team at Albion College. Michael’s fellow co-captain, Charles Micunek, did not graduate from CC, but his father, Bob Micunek, graduated from CC in 1978.
THE VIRTUAL ’00s 2006 – NICK KROLL works for The Hanover Insurance Group and was recently named the first recipient of the John N. Wyckoff Award, a President’s Service Award named for the company’s first president, which recognizes a deep commitment to everyday excellence in service to others. It honors those whose performance far exceeds expectations by delivering consistently outstanding results for internal and external customers and who model the way they can each take personal responsibility for moving our own work forward. Congratulations to Nick on this wonderful recognition.
2010 – MATT THOMPSON graduated from West Point Military Academy in May. He graduated among the top 40 in his class and received his diploma directly from President Obama. Upon returning home, Matt and his family hosted a private dinner party in honor of his graduation. Matt’s next step is Army Ranger School in Georgia.

THE CONNECTED ’10s 2010 – SPENCER FRANCIS graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Economics and a minor in French. Fr. John Wheeler, C.S.B. ’57 was a guest at the graduation ceremony on May 3, 2014, in the “Big House.”

2013 – JON CONLEY is a member of the Tufts University Lacrosse Team which won the NCAA Division III National Championship with a 12-9 victory over Salisbury University on May 25, 2014, at Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium.
