To Keynsham Winter Festival 2023! We hope you enjoy the evening and can’t wait to celebrate the Festive Season in Keynsham with you all.
Programme of Entertainment Procession and light switch on, 6:15pm Join us for our annual Christmas procession to turn on the High Street Lights. The procession starts at Memorial Park Main Gates, heads up Bath Hill and along the High Street to St John’s Church. Led by the colouring contest winners, the Air Cadets 93 Squadron, Mencap and children that participated in the lantern workshop it’s sure to kick off the event with a festive start. Main Stage 6:30pm Welcome, presentation of colouring contest competition winner and shop window display winner 6:50pm Performance TBD 7pm Razzamataz Theatre School 7:15pm Heidi Marie Dance 7:30pm TimeOut Yuletide Youth Takeover 9pm Main stage closes
Programme of Entertainment This year in addition to the Main Stage near St John’s Church, we’re also going to have two pop-up performance locations to allow even more entertainment. Pop-up Stage, Outside Library 6:30pm Salvation Army 7:15pm Phoenix & KLOGS High Street 6pm Festive Market Stalls and ‘frosty’ street performers will keep both young and old entertained. Don’t miss! Local resident George Liddell playing festive favourites on his xylophone. St John’s Church, 6-8:30pm Nativity dressing up, cakes & refreshments, crafts, stalls & games, choir singing

Look Out For... Keynsham Town Council have an Information Booth on Market Walk. Come and see us with any Festival questions. We will also have a FREE Christmas Tree giveaway on the night - these went quickly last year so don’t delay if you’d like one!
Keep an eye out for selfie frames around the Festival. Take some pics and tag us in on Instagram and Facebook.
Also, don’t forget about our Christmas Jumper Swap! Bring your pre-loved jumper to the Information Booth on the night of the Winter Festival and swap it for a new-to-you one.
Keynsham Photo Centre, Charlton Road, is also ready to print your pictures on the night!

Keynsham & District Dial-a-Ride Free Shuttle Schedules The Snowman Service The Snowman Service will operate between Keynsham, Waitrose and Ashton Way bus stop. Please note, there is free parking at Waitrose throughout the Winter Festival evening.

The Reindeer Route The Reindeer Route will operate between the Chocolate Quarter and Ashton Way bus stop, via Queens Road. Every effort will be made to keep to the below schedule, but delays on the night may occur. Spaces are limited for wheelchair users, so you will need to call in advance to pre-book a space (P: 01225 395321)

Christmas Shopping
Local businesses will stay open late and market stalls will be dotted throughout the Festival to allow for easy Christmas shopping. Get ahead on your shopping and support local business this Festive Season. Don’t forget to bring your own reusable bag on the night to carry home all your purchases. FEAR HALL 6pm to 9pm | Christmas Stalls Warm up with a cuppa whilst browsing the festive stalls and pick up a Christmas present for your loved ones! KEYNSHAM LEISURE CENTRE 6pm to 9pm | Christmas Stalls, Tombola & Face Painters NEW for 2023, Keynsham Leisure Centre will host market stalls, a tombola and all the FREE face painting. The cafe will be open so grab a drink or let the little ones run wild in the soft play. HIGH STREET 6pm to 9pm | Christmas Stalls & Tombola Back for 2023, the High Street will be lined with market stalls and toy tombolas. Visit the TimeOut stall to pick up one-of-a-kind Christmas cards handmade by Keynsham’s young people. MARKET WALK 6pm to 9pm | Christmas Stalls Over 30 stalls will line Market Walk, meaning Christmas shopping is sorted! Keep refuelled with mulled wine and hot chestnuts while you listen to some local community groups at our pop-up performance area outside the library.
Yuletide Youth Takeover Get ready to rock with the TimeOut Youth Team as they takeover The Main Stage from 7:30 pm. Be prepared for a musical extravaganza - featuring the stunning musical talents of local young musicians.
