KLOGS
Group Performs to Rave Reviews
time; the cast spent a number of months learning to sing a number of songs, with some even attempting to learn how to dance like a cat
With a stellar performance from our Pirate King in his debut role, and equally spectacular performances from Mabel, Frederic, Major General, Ruth and the rest of the cast; the show left both the audience and cast with a warm fuzzy feeling and lots of laughter. With a show that bordered on absurd at times - it had a Rose Bowl reviewer stating that it "left us grinning with delight from such characterful performances."
The show was a directorial debut with KLOG for Ryan Valentine, a choreography debut for Ella Pearce and a return to Musical Director for Lee Tesdale - who is starting to lose count of how many shows he has done!
KLOGS have been entertaining the Bristol and Bath area with musical productions for over 50 years, and is due to start rehearsing for their next show "Time Warp" due to take place from 17th - 19th October

Keynsham Train Station Mural
Early this year, Keynsham in Bloom alongside Severnside Rail Partnership commissioned a piece of artwork for the Keynsham Train Station. The art, created by local artist Nick Halahan of Olas Art, features local wildlife and local scenes. The artwork has gone down a treat with lots of positive feedback from community members and visitors to Keynsham Station. Keynsham in Bloom have recently developed boards to ‘search and seek’ for items within the mural to create a bit of fun while waiting for the train Give it a go the next time you’re Bristol-bound!
