Thank You... “When I first thought about joining a fraternity I did not realize all of the benefits that would come along with it. I thought I was joining a group of guys I could have fun with and increase the social aspect of my life. But after becoming a brother of Delta Sigma Phi, I truly have grown in many ways. The fraternity has given me the assurance that with some positive initiative, people can make an impact on themselves, their brothers and the community. The fraternity has allowed me to form relationships that affect the well-being of my future. And finally, having been in a leadership position, I have learned how to get things done with about 75 different opinions going around. Delta Sigma Phi has helped me become ready for life after college and I want the same undergraduate experience for each one of my brothers. The Summer of ‘94: A Look Back at Leadership Institute Goal setting. Teamwork. These may seem like small words but they come packed with a punch. I didn’t realize that when I was preparing to attend the second class of Delta Sig’s Leadership Institute (LI) during the summer of 1994 - held in Bloomington, Indiana.
Now team work – and by that, I would have said it then in two words rather than the one I chose at the beginning of this message – team work was exactly that: work done in a team setting.
