Car Wash Fundraiser (TBD Due to Weather) Feb 8 - Conway Elementary School Dance Feb 8 - Fall In Love With Escondido Schools Feb 20 - Club Elections

President’s Message Hello Jellies! It’s hard to believe the first month of 2019 has already flown by. Soon enough, so will the rest of the term and semester. With that said, we are preparing for the start of the new term with club elections and DCON! As election season comes up, I encourage you to take that extra step and become more involved as a leader. There are many different opportunities for you to gain leadership experience opening up soon and I hope you don’t hesitate to run for that position you had your sights on. My biggest advice for you if you’re debating whether or not to be candidate is to just do it! You don’t want to regret not running. Know that I see a lot of potential in you and I hope to see you become a candidate for an officer position. If you ever need advice or tips, the board and I are always available to help! Along with elections, DCON registration is creeping up on us quickly. If you plan on attending, please be on the lookout for an email with all of the information you need and be sure to pay your $50 by Wednesday, February 6th! There will be many fundraisers in the nearby future so please help us by advertising and promoting them. All funds raised will help lower the costs! As the rest of this month continues, remember to keep your New Years resolutions in mind and stay on top of your responsibilities. It will benefit you in the future. As for Key Club, I’m excited to see what kind of things are in store for us. With the two months we have left, let’s end strong and keep showing that we are stinging with service.

Editor’s Message Hey Jellies!

Isn’t it crazy how fast January passed by just like that? Don’t tell me the rest of the term will pass by that quickly, I don’t want it to end. Election season is quickly rising ahead and I hope to see some of you arise as our future club leaders. I believe that each and every single one of you have a huge amount of potential to not only run but be spectacular leaders. If you ever need some advice, some insider tips don’t hesitate to ask any of our current or past board members we are here to help you! You thought elections were coming by fast, well DCON registration has now been opened up and if you’ve been attending the meetings you know some information about it. If not, check out the DCON page in this newsletter with all the information you’ll need to talk to you parents, and to start saving up. If you attend our fundraisers coming up soon, there’s a good chance the cost of DCON will go down for you, for me, for everyone! Also we’re still selling stickers, help us reach our PTP goal by the end of the term by purchasing some or sharing with friends and family! Send me a message or come up to me at school if you’d like to buy some! Welcome to February! Keep up with your school work, extracurriculars, and any other responsibilities you have. Take some time for some self care, don’t be afraid to treat yourself you deserve it! Let’s end the term stronger than the last, keep on stinging with service jellies!

Nothing better than making sandwiches for the homeless! One of our favorite events where we get to bond greatly while helping the community.

"At first I was a little scared to run for a position however, I went through with it. I then quickly wished I had joined and ran so much sooner!! I absolutely love serving this great club and all the fun we had. it can be a lot of work at times but I really love the board and the connections we have made. Please run for a position! Don’t be scared, I was new to Key Club, scared and ran. It was the best decision i could have made!"
