Whatever Happened To... Mike Karas DLS Faculty and Staff 1981 - 2014 As a DLS Faculty and Staff member, Mike Karas wore many hats. He taught in both the English and Social Studies Department, chaired Social Studies for several years, served as Athletic Director for a brief time, and was first Director of Development (now the Advancement Department).

At the same time, Mike was also teaching English, and serving as Athletic Director. “I did so many things. We used to have a festival/ carnival, and I was responsible for that. We had the dinners. I worked with great people.”
