Keeping In Touch With Our Alumni
In February 2017, all alumni for whom we have an email address were sent a link to the 2017 Alumni Survey. To date, approximately 250 alumni have completed the simple Google form. We are asking for your most up-to-date contact information, and particularly want to know how you perceive our communications with you. In addition to the printed Collegiate, mailed to your home and also linked on the school website at www.delasallehs.com, we also send monthly emails, post on the Alumni Facebook page, and maintain an active presence on the school Facebook page and through our Twitter account. Most importantly, we want to know what alumni activities interest you. At the Alumni Town Hall in October, many of you indicated an interest in more events for younger alumni.
If you have NOT received the email with the Alumni Survey link, please contact Vicki Granger at vgranger@ delasallehs.com or call 586.541.6207. You may also scan this QR code.
Alumni Family Day
Attend our May 2 Alumni & Friends Day at the Jimmy John’s Field in Utica as the Pilot baseball teams face Country Day. See page 17.

Career Start Days
Many of you are willing to mentor a current student or alumnus. One way to help our current students will be to participate in “Career Start.” Rather than the traditional “Career Day” involving the entire student body, we’re going to make use of the late start schedules in the school calendar several times each semester. Our plan is to bring in several alumni who have a similar career, such as Accounting or Public Safety/Fire, and have students who specifically identified these areas meet with you for some small group conversation. We think it will be a great win-win! More information about Career Start, and other programs, will be in future emails, and in the next issue of The Collegiate, which comes out in late September.
