Since its founding, DeAngelis Diamond has followed an organic expansion model based on growing markets. Our Sarasota/Tampa Division opened its doors in 2012 and was our second office, an exciting milestone as we looked to expand our services to other booming markets in our beautiful, home state.

Our skilled team of experts posses the knowledge and expertise necessary to handle everything from small-scale build-outs to large-scale complex projects. We use state-of-the-art equipment and cutting-edge technology to ensure that every aspect of the construction process is efficient and precise. MARINA BAY 880

This project involves a stunning addition to the Clearwater, FL waterfront, comprising two impressive eight-story buildings, each containing 87 high-end condominium units. The development also features an expansive shared common area, including an 80,000 sq. ft. parking garage, providing residents with ample space to park their vehicles securely. In addition to the exceptional living spaces, the project boasts a range of world-class amenities, including an Olympic-sized lap pool, a fully equipped fitness room complete with sauna and steam rooms, and a common amenity deck featuring synthetic turf and a fully functioning marina. The luxury living spaces are complemented by breathtaking views of the surrounding area, providing residents with a serene and tranquil environment in which to live, work, and play. MARINA BAY 880 TOWNHOMES

This project is the second phase of the Marina Bay 880 and features the construction of two buildings which house a total of eight three-story townhomes. These breathtaking units feature personal elevators for added convenience and large balconies offering stunning views of the bay.

The Sarasota Memorial Hospital Captial Improvements in 2020-2021 consisted of several projects that aimed to update and expand upon the hospitals current facilities and capabilities. All of these were handled with the uptmost care in order to minimize the disruption of hospital functions. Key projects handled under these improvements included the phased renovation of several OR rooms, an upgrade to the Medium Voltage, 5-phased renovation of the Cardiology units including new 2 new EP labs and 1 cath lab, and an upgrade to the commercial kitchen that services the hospital patients, visitors, and staff.

SRQ AIRPORT TERMINAL EXPANSION

AVIATION

SARASOTA, FL | 150,000 SQ. FT.

A $100 million investment in the future of travel is currently underway at SRQ Airport. This tremendous expansion and renovation project consists of 5 packages that spanned over a 2-year period. The first, focused on the construction of an entirely new terminal with five new gates that act as the centerpiece of the expansion and add an additional 70,000 sq. ft. to the existing airport. An additional 80,000 sq. ft. of renovations was included for escalator upgrades, holdroom realignment, and utility relocation. This project brought a much-needed upgrade to the facility to aid with the growing traveler intake at the SRQ Airport.

PUNTA GORDA AIRPORTRENTAL CAR FACILITY

PUNTA GORDA, FL | 18,000 SQ. FT.

This project consists of building a new single-story 18,000 sq. ft. car facility. This facility will replace the existing rental car center and prepare the airport for connecting the terminal building and rental car facility in the future. This project was delivered under a design-build method.

PGD TERMINAL EXPANSION

PUNTA, FL | 51,000 SQ. FT.

DD provided all pre-construction services for the terminal expansion and renovation project. The project will add approximately 51,500 square feet for hold rooms, public circulation, restrooms, and concessions, while renovating 30,500 square feet of the existing terminal. Renovations include expanding security screening checkpoints, queuing areas, public circulation, arrivals, concessions, and other support spaces. Additional work involves relocating aircraft parking positions, drainage structures, and rental car spaces, as well as constructing a new access road and modifying the aircraft parking apron. The overall aim is to meet growing space demands and improve passenger handling efficiency.

ST. AUGUSTINE, FL | 91,000 SQ. FT.

The Senior Living at the Greens project featured a thoughtful approach to what a senior living community can be. This 91,000 sq. ft. single story senior living project offers top-notch amenities and a comfortable living experience. Within the facility, there are carefully designed spaces dedicated to assisted living and memory care suites, ensuring that the needs and requirements of the elderly residents are met with precision and compassion.

GLENRIDGE NORTH EXPANSION

The Glenridge North Community expansion focuses on the development of over a 100 private homes and villas on a 60-acre site towards the north part of the property. Initial work included land clearing and the creation of streets and retention ponds throughout the property in preparation for the residential homes. Several models of club-style homes and villas offer future residents a variety of options when it comes to a comfortable living solution. Models vary from attached duplex style to two-bedroom private residences. Each comes with the comfort of modern living with custom finish options.

The project involved constructing a brand new state-of-the-art behavioral health replacement hospital spanning over 95,600 sq. ft. The facility was designed to provide a healing environment for patients with 82-86 licensed inpatient beds. The hospital was equipped with cutting-edge technology and innovative treatment methods to provide the best possible care for patients. The project required careful planning and execution to ensure that the facility was built to meet the specific needs of the patient population, with a focus on safety, comfort, and privacy.

BOCA GRANDE HEALTH CLINIC

The Boca Grande Health Clinic project features demolishing an existing 3,600 sq. ft. health clinic and the construction of an all-new 2-story, 11,200 sq. ft. replacement. The new clinic will feature clinical space, therapy space, labs, and an imaging suite complete with a CT scanner and X-Ray equipment.

GRACEPOINT WOMEN’S BEHAVIORAL HEALTH HOSPITAL

Gracepoint Women’s Behavioral Health Hospital is an answer to the growing need for behavioral and mental health treatment in the state of Florida. As the first treatment hospital specifically for women, Gracepoint fills a much-needed market within our community. This 2-story, 28,000 sq. ft. hospital features over 36 beds for incoming patients and allows for providers to give 24/7 care. In the initial phase of construction, the first floor will be fully outfitted as a behavioral health hospital and will be ready to receive patients upon completion. The second floor will leave shell space for a future build-out upon funding.

BRANDON REGIONAL HOSPITAL

BRANDON, FL | 75,000 SQ. FT.

Ground-up construction of an all-new, 3-story, 75,000 sq. ft. medical office building. The project will include the full build-out of the space, including patient care clinics, imaging suites, rehab/ therapy suites, simulation, teaching, and lab space. DD also provided all preconstruction services for this project.

GLENRIDGE KILTIE CAFE

The renovation of the Kiltie Cafe was part of several projects aiming to expand and improve the community. Three central projects made up the whole, including the renovation of the Kiltie Café, the new construction of the Kamberg Wellness Center, and the development of the Glenridge North Community.

The Kiltie Cafe project features 9,550 sq. ft. of work that included increasing the square footage and opening up the existing areas for better traffic flow for customers and staff. The renovation also brings a more modern and stylish look to the cafe, bringing it up-to-date with trending styles. Updated decor and a newly incorporated color schedule enhances the ambiance of an inviting and warm space to enjoy food and drinks.

KAMBERG WELLNESS CENTER

Construction on the all-new Kamberg Wellness Center is a part several projects aiming to expand and improve the community. Three central projects make up the whole, including the renovation of the Kiltie Café, the new-construction of the Kamberg Wellness Center, and the development of the Glenridge North Community.

The all-new Kamberg Center is part of the entire Glenridge on Palmer Ranch community expansion. This 10,732 sq. ft. facility is a modern solution to the needs for a healthcare solution providing space for therapy, rehabilitation, and a full service doctor’s clinic. The center features a diverse portfolio of spaces designed to provide care for not only healthcare services, but also meeting spaces for the community as a whole.

This design-build project involved converting an existing office space into a spacious and comfortable physicians’ lounge, complete with a food preparation area, ample seating, and a tv section. The project involved extensive demolition and required level 3 ICRA compliance, as well as precise coordination with the hospital cafeteria and strict adherence to noise and disruption control measures to ensure minimal disturbance to patients, visitors, and staff. Located on the building’s basement level and constructed on a massive 5 ft thick mat slab, the project required innovative solutions such as injector pumps to pump waste from sink locations to the main drain, highlighting the level of technical expertise involved in the project execution.

This design-build project entailed a comprehensive upgrade of an existing office space to create new, state-of-the-art office and patient amenities areas, with extensive asbestos-containing materials (ACM) abatement requirements. The project involved the addition of two ADA bathrooms and the upgrading of two existing bathrooms with high-end fixtures and finishes. Due to its proximity to the main lobby and the ICU unit above, the project required level 3 ICRA compliance, with extensive measures taken to ensure negative pressure and maximum protection for workers through the use of clean suits and masks. The project’s success hinged on precise coordination and clear communication with user groups, Moffitt facilities, and construction managers, which allowed for uninterrupted progress and timely completion of the project within an aggressive schedule. It also used a design-build delivery method.

BOCA BAY PASS CLUBHOUSE

BOCA GRANDE, FL | 5,000 SQ. FT.

This transformative project at the Boca Bay Pass Club involved creating an enhanced dining experience by expanding the existing dining area into the covered terrace, as well as upgrading the casual dining room and bar, formal dining space, refrigerated wine exhibit, and outdoor covered pool bar. But that’s not all - we also added top-of-the-line ADA-compliant ramps at the front and rear of the clubhouse to ensure that everyone can enjoy the newly renovated facilities.

FAITH COVENANT CHURCH

SARASOTA, FL | 10,000 SQ. FT.

The Faith Covenant Church project features major renovation to the classrooms within the existing church building and focuses on the expansive 10,000 sq. ft. addition to the church. This new wing will provide more space for offices and administrative areas for the church team and staff.

EXTRA SPACE FOWLER STREET

TAMPA, FL | 120,000 SQ. FT.

This 120,000 sq. ft. 4-story self-storage building is a modern and secure facility designed to meet the storage needs of individuals and businesses alike. The building has a sleek and contemporary exterior, featuring a combination of decorative canopies and trellis. Upon entering the building, customers are greeted by a spacious and welcoming lobby that doubles as a sales center and administrative space for employees.

The storage units themselves are located on the upper floors, which can be accessed via elevators or stairways. These units are designed to be highly versatile, with a range of sizes available to suit different needs. Climate-controlled measures were implemented to ensure that each unit provides a stable and comfortable environment, free from the effects of extreme heat or cold.

In addition to the storage units, the building is equipped with a range of amenities to enhance the customer experience. These include loading docks, wide driveways, and ample parking spaces for easy access.

PRIMEROSE SCHOOL OF OLDSMAR

EDUCATION

OLDSMAR, FL | 14,000 SQ. FT.

This project involves the new construction of a state-of-the-art early education school, spanning 14,000 sq. ft. over two floors. The school includes 11 spacious and well-equipped classrooms that offer a stimulating and immersive learning environment for students. The fully fenced play areas are thoughtfully designed with padded artificial turf and an array of engaging playground equipment, ensuring that children can play safely and have fun. The school is part of the prestigious Primrose Schools network, a national system of accredited private preschools that provide high-quality early education and childcare services to children and families, setting the gold standard in early childhood education.

FIRST SARASOTA CHURCH KIDS MINISTRY

TAMPA, FL | 8,400 SQ. FT.

The First Sarasota Church embarked on a project to enhance its offerings for children, resulting in the construction of an expansive and modern Children’s Center. The addition comprises several spacious and well-equipped classrooms, infant rooms designed to cater to the unique needs of babies, and performance rooms that provide an ideal space for children to showcase their talents.
