Día de Muertos
Nov. 1 & 2, 2025
Día de Muertos returns to the Garden with a stunning open-air community altar featuring the work of Oaxacan artisans in an authentic and moving display honoring lost loved ones. Visitors will enjoy facepainting, crafts, food and a moving sunset procession through the Garden.

Plants & People of the Sonoran Desert Celebration
Nov. 15 & 16, 2025
The Garden’s Plants & People of the Sonoran Desert trail invites visitors to explore diverse desert habitats and discover the ways Indigenous people use native plants for food, fiber and shelter. This event includes a week-long celebration leading up to the weekend festival, with all activities highlighting Arizona’s Native American communities through storytelling, music, dance, food, crafts and culture.
