Proposed Speculative Office Building, Dublin 1 , 2010 - A high quality design is currently being developed for a speculative office building to be located within the vicinity of the new law courts. The proposal is for a 4 storey development of 900sqm of flexible office accommodation.

Integrated into the design are a number of passive measures to minimise the environmental impact of the proposal.

Vodafone Experience Store , 2010 - BCDH were commissioned to prepare a concept design for an exciting new experience store for this major telecommunications brand Proposed Showroom / Café, Long Mile Road , 2010 - Proposal to convert an existing warehousing unit into an attractive commercial showroom with an associated café on the Long Mile Road Energy analysis projects , 2010 - Using the latest software for thermal analysis and solar gain, BCDH are involved in the improvement of the efficiency of both existing housing and maximising the benefits in new designs.

Gymnasium, Waterford , 2010 - Substantial new 1,300sqm gymnasium, the adaptive reuse of an existing retail warehouse over 2 levels on the outskirts of Waterford town.

Laurence Town Centre, Drogheda , 2010 - The proposed phase 2 development of this shopping and cultural centre will integrate a substantial new development with the existing shopping centre to provide an additional 2000sqm of retail in addition to a 10 screen cinema carefully integrated within the urban block. The design of the proposed development integrates new retail space into the historic town fabric, restoring life to a fragmented and underutilized brown field site and will assist in encouraging shoppers back to the town centre rather than the prolifery of out of town retailing.

Mixed use development, Ballymakenny Business Park, County Louth , 2009 - Options for the redevelopment of the existing substantial retail and warehousing units on a site outside Drogheda to provide start up business units, offices and retail.

Drury Street Car Park, Dublin 2 , 2009 - Competition entry prepared, on behalf of Dublin City Council, in conjunction with a team led by Moston Construction Ltd for the redevelopment of the existing multistorey car park as a development providing retail, office space and roof top restaurants.

Donnybrook Mall redevelopment, Dublin 4 , 2008 - BCDH have been requested by Mountbrook Homes Ltd to prepare a series of studies for the redevelopment of a prominent site in Donnybrook.

Feasibility Study for a site at the Malahide Road/ N32 Junction, Dublin , 2008 - The preparation of a study to assist Dublin City Council in developing a strategy for the redevelopment of a 2 hectare site. The process expanded to include the development of a strategy for the development brief for a phased public-private redevelopment of the site.

Cannon Mooney Gardens, Dublin 2 , 2007 - Feasibility Study on behalf of Dublin City Council for the redevelopment of the site of an existing flats complex in Ringsend to provide 90 residential units achieving modern housing standards. The study examined the potential for refurbishment, extension

and alteration or demolition of the existing structure and replacement with a new scheme.

U2 Tower, Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, Dublin , 2006 - Value €160M The winner of an international competition organised by the DDDA, was selected from over 600 entries. The design of this 130 metre tall tower at the junction of the Rivers Liffey and Dodder set unprecedented challenges in terms of an architectural response to the technical difficulties arising from its dynamic shape. The design is primarily for residential use and features the recording studios for the band U2.

Apartment Development, Longs Place, Dublin , 2004 - Proposed apartment development of up to 80 apartments and associated urban design on a significant city centre site.

Mixed Use Development, Dun Laoghaire , 2004 - Conversion of protected structure, previously a bank into quality offices over three floors with the removal of an extension to the rear and replacement with new apartments and parking to the rear.

Mixed Use Development, Enniskerry , 2003 - A sympathetic design which maximises the potential for a mixed use development, including retail, residential and a cafe, on the last undeveloped site in the centre of the village of Enniskerry, County Wicklow. Decisions on materials, design language and massing were made with the historic context in mind.

Decentralised Government Offices, Dundalk, County Louth , 2003 - Architects for the new 9,000sqm department for relocation of social welfare and finance departments to a brown field site in the centre of Dundalk. Completed in 2005.

Sheiling Hotel Redevelopment, Raheny, Dublin , 2003 - Architects on refurbishment & extension of existing protected hotel to increase capacity by 30 bedrooms, the provision of a new function suite and associated restaurant facilities. This proposal also includes 34 new apartment units to rear of site.

New Leisure Facility and Theatre, Drogheda, County Louth , 2003 - BCDH Architects were awarded second place in an invited competition for the provision of architectural services and design team leaders for a new facility for the Louth Meath FM. Stafford Oil Offices & Depot, Dunleer , 2002 - Architects for the substantial refurbishment and extension of the existing office building and rationalization of the oil depot site works and distribution facility.

Crèche facility and apartments, Wexford , 2002 - Architects for new crèche facilities and 3 new duplex units on a tight, exposed site on the South side of Wexford. The crèche facility has been designed to accommodate 50 children up to the age of 6 years old. Overall area 600sqm.

House Refurbishment, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 , 2002 - Extensive remodelling and the extension of unique Georgian house overlooking Lansdowne Tennis Club in the conservation area of Ballsbridge.

Housing Development, Taghmon, Wexford , 2002 - The development of a proposal for 10 new social and affordable residential units and public space on a protected site in the centre of Taghmon.

Housing Development, Bailieborough , 2002 - Architects for a development of 30 housing units on historically sensitive site. A system of house designs was developed to suit the steeply sloping site.

New facilities for Dundalk Lawn Tennis Club, County Louth , 2002 - Dundalk LTC are considering a joint venture with Dundalk Institute of Technology to develop a shared centre for Tennis Excellence.

The scheme will potentially house one of the largest indoor tennis facilities in Ireland with extensive outdoor provision.

THEatre Space Refurbishment, Dublin 1 , 2001 - Project Architects for the refurbishment and extension of the existing theatre to provide new changing facilities on the ground floor and upgrade the first floor to increase the capacity to 120 persons, improved public facilities and a dance space on a new mezzanine level. Masterplan and Hotel Development, Nevinstown, County Dublin , 2001 - Materplanning proposals for new commercial/ hi-tech business park in North Dublin with a new 150 bedroom hotel proposal.

Theatre & Film School, UCD , 2000 - Short listed competition entry for a new purpose made building at UCD to house a theatre & film faculty.
