Fall 2021 brought back a more traditional sports season. We, once again, had fans in the stands cheering on our student athletes.
LCA GIRLS GOLF In September, the LCA Girls Golf Team won the All "A" State Tournament, their third in a row! The team went on to being the Region 9 Tournament RunnerUp with Mary Keene Marrs, C.A. Carter, Carter Lankford, and Maryssa Phillips qualifying for the Leachman Buick GMC Cadillac State Tournament. At the state championship, C.A. Carter placed 11th; Mary Keene Marrs placed 13th; Maryssa Phillips placed 33rd; and Carter Lankford placed 54th out of 140 golfers.
LCA BOYS GOLF The LCA Boys Golf Team won the All "A" State Tournament with four golfers placing in the top five individually: McKean Collins (1st); Luke Barrett (2nd); Grey Goff (3rd); and Jake Merryman (tied 5th). The team also was the Region 9 Tournament Runner-Up with three golfers qualifying for the Leachman Buick GMC Cadillac State Tournament. At the state championship, McKean Collins placed 15th; Luke Barrett placed 34th; and Grey Goff placed 45th.

LCA BOYS SOCCER The LCA Boys Soccer Team had five members named to the All-City Team: Zach Workman (1st Team); Andrew Dobbs (2nd Team); Aaron White, Grayson Collins, and Patrick Duff (Honorable Mention).
The LCA Girls Soccer Team won the All "A" Region Tournament and went on to be the All "A" State Tournament Runner-Up. Hayden Hart, Caroline Hensley, Hadley Whipple, and Marin Wills were all named to the All "A" Statewide All-Tournament Team.
