The Fine Arts Department started the school year strong with concerts and art projects.

LCA CHORUS CONCERTS

The LCA Chorus had a busy fall as they performed multiple concerts at the Rose Campus and at the University of Kentucky. In addition, 17 students were selected for the Kentucky Music Educators Association 2022 All-State Choirs.

BLUEGRASS CHORAL MUSIC FESTIVAL

Six of LCA’s Chamber Choir members participated in the Bluegrass Choral Music Festival University of Kentucky School of Music on Saturday, September 25, 2021. They presented a beautiful concert alongside some of UK’s vocal ensembles, which included a solo by LCA alum Emily Sparks.

ELEMENTARY CHOIR

The LCA Elementary Choir had the honor of singing the national anthem at the UK Women's Basketball game on November 21, 2021.

ACADEMICS FINE ARTS - PAGE 13 LCA BAND & ORCHESTRA - WINTER CONCERT

The LCA Band & Orchestra had a great fall semester, which included participating at a pep rally, playing at football games and performing at their fall concert.

LCA BAND & ORCHESTRA - CHRISTMAS CONCERT

In December, our band and orchestra returned to the Rose Campus Chapel, where they brought the sounds of the season during their Christmas concert.

Students of all ages expanded their artistic talents in their art classes - both inside and out.

HIGH SCHOOL ART FIELD TRIP

Mrs. Cranfill's high school art study students took a field trip to see the Lupa Lukova Exhibit at the International Underground Museum in Cincinnati, Ohio.

HIGH SCHOOL ARTISTS OF THE MONTH

A different high school art student is featured as the Artist of the Month with their work displayed in the front entrance at the Rose Campus.
