Where we are

Расположение

On the eastern Riviera, east of Genoa, lies the small town of Moneglia. The area is of unquestioned beauty, at the end of the Petronio valley; and the town has maintained its seafaring atmosphere, the hills nearby can be explored on horseback, and there is a sophisticated bistro to visit at midday.

Not by chance the name of the town is derived from the latin “monilia”, meaning something precious. Situated on the Gulf of Tigullio, it is famous for its pleasant climate, typically Mediterranean,and for the quality of life and tourism, holding its name high, as much as for the quality of its sea water. This is the same as that of Casarza Ligure and Sestri Levante, and for the uneven rocky coast of Deiva Marina, equally as atmospheric, which lies near to Moneglia , towards La Spezia.

Moneglia lies on a small bay, closed in by two headlands, among the olives and vines. To the west is Punta Moneglia, a wild pine wood, where you have to keep to the foot-paths, and to the east is Punta Rospo, near to the residential area of Lemeglio. The district includes Bracco, Casale, Camposoprano, Corneglio, Crova, Facciù, Lemeglio, Littorno, San Lorenzo, San Saturnino and Tessi.

How to Get There By air: the nearest airport is Cristoforo Colombo at Genoa, less than an hour away. Alternatively there is Giuseppe Verdi at Parma, or San Giusto at Pisa, respectively 91 and 94 kms. from Moneglia.

By land: the motorway to take is the A12 Genova- Livorno, going towards La Spezia, exiting at Sestri Levante, take the direction for Riva Trigoso. The road goes through the ex-railway tunnel, and on leaving the tunnel the road for Moneglia has a traffic light permitting one way traffic in alternating directions, changing to green at 15, 35 and 55 of each hour, for about 10 kms. At the motor-way toll at the Dieva Marina exit the traffic light regulating the Moneglia road changes at 0,10,20,30,40, and 50 of each hour.

Coming from Sestri the road crosses the villages of Casale, Camposoprano and Facciù.

Moneglia has its railway station on the Genoa- La Spezia line, with only regional trains stopping; if one is travelling intercity, the stop is Sestri Levante, from where you can reach your destination.

By sea: The Gulf where Moneglia lies is between Punta Portofino and Punta Mesco to the east, the nearest harbours are Chiavari, with more than 500 moorings, Lavagna and Sestri Levante, or the little harbour of Levanto.

Из Рива Тригозо в Монелью: зелёный свет загорается на 2 минуты каждые 15-ю, 35-ю и 55-ю минуты каждого часа. Из ДейваМарина в Монелью: зелёный свет загорается на 2 минуты каждые 00-ю, 10-ю, 20-ю, 30-ю, 40-ю, 50-ю минуты каждого часа. В Монелье также есть железнодорожная станция линии Генуя – Ла-Специя, но ходят здесь только региональные поезда. В случае путешествия на поезде «Intercity» и другом не региональном поезде, необходима пересадка в Сестри-Леванте, откуда вы легко доберетесь до пункта назначения. По морю: залив, где находится Монелья находится между мысами Портофино и Меско. Ближайшие к Монелья оборудованные причалы находятся в Кьявари (более 500 лодочных мест), Лаванье, Сестри-Леванте или на пристани Леванто.

It is certain that the most ancient costal tribe was the “Liguri”, the tribe which inhabited the coast between Punta Mesco and Portofino was the “Tigullii”. These people lived a seminomadic life on account of the lack of open space, and, from the tops of the hills, were hunter gatherers, rather than fishermen, which they became later. The Romans had great trouble dominating them. The Roman army needed a strategic road crossing the lowland between the hills and the coast, which eventually became the famous Via Aurelia. The district of Lemeglio, near Moneglia, is found on a Roman map, the “tabula alimentare”, an important historical reference.

In the course of the 7th century, during the Longobard domination, the phenomenon of monasticism was spreading. The monks of Bobbio, having arrived on their mules, developed the economy of the territory, with farms and monastic settlements as far as the valleys of Aveto, Sturla and Fontanabuona. Charlemagne, with the imperial edict of 774, gifted the territory to the Colomban monks, to whom we owe the abbey of Saint Colombano of Bobbio, founded by the saint in 614. Together with other holdings in Liguria dedicated to the church, we have again to thank the monks for maintaining the first commercial activities, and also their intensive agriculture on terraced fields, and the connections they established with the northern plains.

In the mediaeval age, as for many costal places, the fate of Moneglia was sealed by the Saracen invasions, who sacked and raided at will the small town and other places around Deiva and Riva Trigoso. A local legend tells that at Lemeglio an attack brought about the death of all the men of the town and the abduction of more than 20 maidens.

Until 1153, Moneglia was a feud of the counts Fieschi of Levagna, and was administered by them.

It passed then to the Republic of Genoa, for whom it proved its loyalty by participating with a fleet of its own ships, in the famous battle of Meloria, and in the battle of Porto Pisano, against Genoa’s great rival, Pisa, for trade routes. On account of these events, in 1549 the people of Moneglia asked the senate of Genoa for the construction of a defensive tower, and they obtained the construction of the fortress of Villafranca. Between 1936 to 1939 this was converted into a dwelling house, but was completely lost in June 1944 during bombardments, to be restored recently with the gardens in front. In 1637 Moneglia became a property of Levanto which gained power in the Republic of Genoa, then to be passed to Napoleon a century later. After 1815 Moneglia again changed hands, going to the Kingdom of Sardinia, and after to the kingdom of Italy since 1861, its last owner. We arrive at the second world war. Moneglia was bombarded on 14th June, 29th June and 1st November 1944, attacks aimed at cutting the supply lines provided by the railway from Genoa to La Spezia.

Inside the railway tunnels, which today form the road, the population was saved, finding shelter and continuing to live their daily lives until better times , and the re-evaluation of the coast which culminated in the 60s, when the bathing places of Tigullio and the Cinque Terre were most popular.

How to Get Around A particular feature of Moneglia is its central position in the arc between the gulf of the Poets and the Cinque Terre in the east, and Rapallo, Santa Margherita and Porto Fino in the west. There is little space in the town to explore but there are the shops, bars and cafés, with their kiosks, or one can simply pass through the arcades between the houses, and after a few meters one arrives at the beach. Everything described above can easily be reached by train, the means of transport warmly recommended, if not too many stops are required on this eastern part of the coast. The car is inconvenient in the town center, with little chance of free parking, because Moneglia, although small, is a popular bathing resort.

The ATP is the company which provides local transport, with more than 40 bus routes that connect Moneglia with outlying districts. In the summer there are shuttle buses connecting the campsites of Deiva and Sestri with the beaches of Sestri. The best thing would be to bring a bicycle, or for a low price, rent a scooter at Sestri Levante. Also in the summer it is always possible to use the daily ferry service, which operates all along the coast as far as the Cinque Terre. On the beach there is also a diving center for sub-aqua enthusiasts.

Как передвигаться Одна из особенностей города Монелья в удачном географическом расположении, он находится на пересечении путей, которые соединяют Чинкуэ-Терре, залив Поэтов, и через бывшие железнодорожные туннели, с городом Дейва, с Портофино, Рапалло и Санта-Маргерита. В Монелье невозможно заблудиться - обойдя магазины, бары и кафе, или прогулявшись под аркадами домов, вы непременно окажетесь на чудесном пляже. Все достопримечательности города можно обойти пешком, поэтому будет удобнее прибыть сюда на поезде. Автомобиль неудобен для путешествий по центру города, да и платных парковок здесь намного больше, чем бесплатных, но это и не удивительно, учитывая то, что Монелья - это небольшой, приморский курорт. Автобусы транспортной компании «АТР» обслуживают более сорока городских и междугородних маршрутов, соединяют разные районы города, а в летнее время обеспечивают регулярные рейсы в соседние городки Дейва и Сестри-Леванте. Идеальным вариантом для передвижения по Монелье будет велосипед или скутер, арендованный в одной из компаний «renta-car» в Сестри-Леванте по очень невысокой цене. Nature Between Punta Moneglia and Punta Rospo, the beaches are separated by stretches of rock going right down to the sea, and above scented pines and Mediterranean undergrowth adorn the coast. At Punta Manara along the vertical cliffs, where the backwash rumbles, there are numerous inlets and caves, L’Orto dei Preti, La Valetta, La Ruspea.

During quiet mornings, pedestrian tunnels lead to the beaches, the road runs above and remains behind and doesn’t disturb the siesta. The fine sand, the sun, the quiet seabed, and the rocks which give shelter from the wind, make Moneglia a perfect place for families with children. For bolder bathers there is a shingle beach after the first tunnel coming from Dieva where it is necessary to park somewhere else, and get there walking along the side of the road, or by bike. If you feel like going a bit further on uneven ground, you can reach the favourite spot of the young people( and not so young) of Moneglia, and find them sunbathing and diving from the rocks.

Inland there are two protected areas: the Regional Park of Porto Fino, and that of Val d’Aveto. The former, instituted in 1935 covers an area of 18sq.kms. It includes parts cultivated with vines and olives; footpaths immersed in the brilliant green of the pines and acacias, in thick undergrowth by the rocky coast, are coloured with the fruit of the strawberry tree. The views from here of the open sea, flat as a table top, are incomparable.

The regional nature reserve of Aveto has existed since 1995, and is as wild as its sister park of Porto Fino, and is overlooked by the major peaks of the Ligurian Appenines. These are between 1,600 and 1,800 meters, and have mountain resorts, ideal for sporting enthusiasts. The park is inland from Tigullio, and particularly covers the 3 valleys of the area: Aveto – the highest, Sturla with its pastures, and Val Graveglia with its rural countryside, caves and mines. It has the only active mine in the area, Gambatesa, one of the richest manganese mines in Europe. The forest of Lame and the lake represent a rich endemic area of biodiversity, with a wealth of geological and faunistic content. Microclimates are perceptible, despite the uniformity of altitude, and include the pastures and the cultivated terraced fields east towards the Cinque Terre.

In Tigulio there are golden eagles, the pride of the parks, and in some higher parts there are wolves which breed in the holm oak and chestnut woods. There are many other birds of prey such as the goshawk, the kestrel, the short- toed eagle and the buzzard. With more than 60 breeding species, enthusiastic birdwatchers will have plenty to do.

The first courses of Moneglia are close to the Genoese tradition, the king of which is pesto. This is a sauce made from pinenuts, basil, olive oil and sour cheese added first, and later parmizan.

It is eaten with homemade pasta, in particular trofie, a local speciality. Also home- made pansotti are very good, a sort of large ravioli stuffed with borrage and wild herbs served with butter or walnut sauce. Smaller ravioli, stuffed with lean meat or vegetables, linguine and trenette with sea food sauce, regal servings of spaghetti, compete with farinata, pancakes of chickpea flour baked in a wood oven and served with cold cuts and fresh cheese, or boiled for at least an hour, eaten cold, called panissa. Of uncertain origin, cuculli, small round fritters, made with borrage and herbs, are ideal as an apperitive and to be eaten in company.

part from the hills. From blue fish to vegetable pie, much of which was considered superfluous, or unsuitable for finer cooking, today stays on the table. The unwanted parts of fish are fried, a simple cold soup of bread becomes a caponada; tripe, baccala and stockfish are now popular in restaurants which serve them on a plate of polenta, or cooked in sauce with olives and pinenuts. The second courses of meat are preferred in the valleys, with a particular preference for wild boar, used also to make meat sauce and salami, and also for the soft sheep milk cheeses like ricotta, or cows’milk cheeses like stracchino and robiola. It is this very locally produced food that gives us the best of the natural products of Val Graveglia and d’Aveto, and in different places along the roads one can buy jams, mushrooms and artichokes in oil, honey and very fresh milk. Moneglia boasts of its production of good quality olive oil, extra virgin from the mills: DOP Riviere di Levante, is kept in the cellars of Razzola, Pignola and Lavagnina.

От голубого тунца до овощных пирогов - большая часть того, что раньше считалось кухней для бедняков, а в настоящее время можно увидеть в меню лучших ресторанов: жареная рыба, холодный овощной суп, трипа, соленая и тушеная треска с полентой или томатным соусом, оливками и кедровыми орешками. Мясные блюда, такие как соусы и салями из мяса дикого кабана, наиболее распространены в кухне горных районов. Популярны также сыры из овечьего молока, такие как «рикотта», «вачино», «стракино» и «робиоле». All’esterno il piccolo dehor che ospita dei graziosi tavolini in ferro è l’ideale per cenare nelle calde sere estive. L’ambiente interno caratteristico, che richiama i colori del mare, permette all’occhio del cliente di spaziare tra oggetti antichi e particolari, quali il soffitto di mattoni a vista e l’antico forno a legna. Tutto ciò, accompagnato da un’ atmosfera calda e famigliare, si fonde alla perfezione con la cucina tradizionale dell’antica osteria, che si avvale di pasta fatta in casa, pesce fresco e dei piatti tipici liguri.

The inn faces a small atmospheric square in the ancient and quiet center of Moneglia.

Outside are placed elegant wrought-iron tables, ideal for dining on warm summer evenings. The inside, with its sea colours lets the eye rove among old and unusual things, like the brick ceiling and the old wood oven. All this, together with a warm family atmosphere blends perfectly with the traditional cooking of an old inn, which serves home- made pasta, fresh fish and traditional Ligurian dishes.

One of the most important is the Castle(or fortress) of Monleone, on the lower hills, west of Moneglia. It was said to have been built in 1173, when it was named in a Genoese edict that ordered the construction of various castles for the defense of the Republic against attacks of the rival Malaspina and the Saracen pirates. It was repeatedly attacked in the following years, and in 1397 it was ordered to be abandoned. On the spot where the mediaeval fortress lay, today one can admire the small castle De Fornari, built at the beginning of the 20th century in the liberty style, and is a functional bed and breakfast hotel. There is also a beautiful park overlooking the sea, where one can see traces of the original castle. Villfranca tower, built on the slopes of a hill overlooks the town from the east. On the right it is coasted by the Bisagno stream and was restored in the 30s by Luigi Burgo, who was the owner. During the second world war, however the fortress was seriously damaged. Only recently, after the building had been made safe, it has been opened to the public, which can enjoy, not only the ruins of the pentagonal complex, but also the splendid view of the gulf of Moneglia. Both the keep, with a square plan, and the battlements can be visited, as can the only watch tower surviving . The main tower, originally with two floors, is used now as a conference center.

The Church of Sante Croce is one of the oldest buildings in the town, rising in its center, a short walk from the town hall. It dates from 1030. A century later in 1143 we find it enlarged and established as a large religious place of worship, or a parish. However, nothing remains of the mediaeval church. It was said to have mysteriously collapsed in the early years of the 18th century. The parish church as we now know it was built in 1726 in the baroque style, and decorated with works of Anton Maria Maragliano, and

by a precious Last Supper from the school of Luca Cambiaso, who was born in Moneglia. The last remains of that epoc which saw Santa Croce as it was, is the Oratorio dei Disciplinante, which, although changed during the Renaissance, can still be visited. The walls of the hall offer another attraction to the visitor. The frescoes date from different times according to recent studies, and cover the walls with complete cycles of the life of the Madonna to whom the complex is dedicated, and of the Passion of Christ. Another thing to see in Santa Croce is the remaining trophies conquered in the battle of Meloria, fought between Genoa and Pisa, and won by the former. Hanging from a stone on the façade of the church, one can still see two of the links of the chain that closed the gates of Pisa, carried off and hung up as a souvenir.

And last but not least important, the church of San Giorgio built in 1396 near the fortress of Monleone by the Benedictine monks, who chose the Gothic style. It was heavily restored at the beginning of the 18th century, to the baroque style, transforming both the façade and the three naves inside. The bell tower on a square plan, retains features of its original style, such as the two coloured marble decoration and the trifore that decorate the top. It became a parish church in 1414 and thus separating itself from the jurisdiction of Santa Croce, and was enlarged by a cloister built in 1484 by Franciscian monks who ten years later bought the sanctuary thanks to an endowment. As the years passed it was enriched by numerous valuable works of art, among which the most important are a group of wooden carvings that represent Saint George, to whom the church is dedicated, while he fights the dragon, or the Adoration of the Magi, by the local painter Luca Cambasio. Одной из главных достопримечательностей Монельи является замок Монлеоне, в предгорьях к западу от города. Он был построен в 1173 году, когда был провозглашен генуэзский указ, предписывающий строительство оборонительных замков для защиты Республики от нападений армии Маласпина и пиратов. Постоянные нападения в последующие годы привели к тому, что в 1397 году крепость была полностью разрушена. The association Felice Romano is named after a poet and literary figure, “libretto” writer and favourite of Vincenzo Bellini and Gaetano Donizetti. It organizes the principal cultural events of Moneglia which are the concerts of classical music, well known nearby and also on a regional and provincial level. The association has contributed to the restoration and valuation of the principal cultural locations of the district, for its own and other initiatives. A central place must be given to the Festival of Santa Croce, during which the people follow the procession of the marvelous and very heavy “Cristi Liguri” through the winding streets and paths.

Don’t miss the Palio Marinaro at the end of August when numerous teams of the Gulf of Tigullio participate in the rowing race with traditional boats called “gozzi” made of fiberglass with seats. On Easter Monday, the City Hall in collaboration with the olive producers Du Facciù hold the market show of Olive Oil. Every year in February, as well, there is the carneval of the pumpkin, a historic festival which keeps alive the memory of the popular legend which claims to explain why Moneglia is defined as the capital of the pumpkin or squash. There is a procession of allegorical floats. The story goes that in times past there was an argument between two local farmers who, on the border of their land, found a growing squash plant.

Ассоциация способствовала восстановлению, реставрации и укреплению большинства культурных памятников на всей территории муниципалитета, где в настоящее время проводятся концерты и другие культурные мероприятия. Как и во всех итальянских городках, здесь пышно празднуются день покровителя города и праздник Святого Креста, во время которых по местным извилистым дорожкам проходит процессия с прекрасными и очень тяжелыми распятьями «Cristi Liguri». В конце августа не пропустите морское состязание «Palio Marinaro» с участием нескольких экипажей из разных прибрежных городов залива Тигуллио. Каждый год в первый понедельник после Пасхи городская администрация, совместно с ассоциацией «Pro Loco» и с Консорциумом оливоводов «Du Facciu», организовывает выставку оливкового масла. Take a short train journey and magically you arrive in a landscape totally different from that where you set off, but very near , being only 100 km. away as the crow flies.

l caro, vecchio J.R.R. Tolkien raccontava di una ultima casa accogliente dove il popolo elfico aveva preso dimora, circondandosi di boschi e torrenti prima che le terre selvagge insidiassero i domini che erano i loro e degli uomini.

Ad essere del tutto onesti, a questa casa accogliente, chiamata nella traduzione Italiana “Gran Burrone”, non era facile arrivare, se non attraversando le vie fluviali o i ponti di pietra che la collegavano oltre il tuffo delle acque tumultuose.

Di quello che narrano i libri, ognuno può immaginare molto, poiché la stessa immaginazione non ha confini di sorta, eppure, in un qualche modo più legato ad una proiezione serale, mistica, ammantata di nebbia e di incubi di vario genere, noi la nostra “Gran Burrone” la abbiamo in una piccola striscia di terra – piccola si fa per dire - a cavallo tra la Liguria, l’Emilia e la Toscana.

Tale striscia, conosciuta con il nome di Lunigiana, già Terra dei Cento Castelli, delle Strade “del Vino”, si incunea nell’Appennino Tosco Emiliano in un disegno che sembra incoerente, fatto di boschi, forre profonde e pinete in cui ancora gemono le volpi nelle ore che precedono le razzie, di ambienti diversi tra loro come gemelli di un parto molto numeroso, sebbene di diversi padri, mondi diversi, mondi senza un perché, montagne dove c’è il mare e laghi dove c’è la neve, dove l’inverno morde i calcagni e l’estate regala frinire di grilli sotto le stelle.

Un anfiteatro naturale che parla di vette ammantate a Zeri ed al Cerretto, e di cave che rilucono tanto da accecare a Carrara, la roccia viva che viene depredata in favore di una bellezza ancor più unica che rara, il suo marmo purissimo.

In realtà, la natura, dove si forma il triangolo di Pontremoli, il più a nord, Villafranca Lunigiana e Fivizzano a completarlo,

ha steso generosamente i suoi colori più brillanti e niente è lasciato al caso. Sottoboschi di mirtillo e more selvatiche, praterie di vetta, quercete assolate e persino rade torbiere, sono l’emblema di un esperimento di biodiversità che nemmeno gli elfi, nei libri, saprebbero accudire con la stessa premura di cui la natura selvaggia, vera signora della Lunigiana Interna, sa usare nei confronti dei suoi figli.

Nel centro esatto di questo triangolo fatto di paesaggi carsici, fiumi e delicate specie floristiche, nel giardino che si fa man mano più incolto, ponti di pietra solcano le acque del torrente Bagnone per catapultarci indietro di almeno mille anni.

Il borgo, che porta il suo nome, si fa incontro al viaggiatore attento quasi all’improvviso, ce lo dobbiamo

immaginare, ora, a cavallo, con un’innalzarsi di case alte e strette, le finestre come occhi che spiano, i tetti in ardesia e i portici in arenaria.

Un castello, maestoso, domina dall’alto, e il suono delle campane, per la messa del mattino, giunge come inaspettato in un silenzio rotto unicamente dal vociare delle cascatelle, qualche metro più in basso rispetto all’arco di pietra, e dalle grida, occasionali, degli uccelli pescatori che sorvolano l’abitato.

Oggi come un tempo il cavallo è stato sostituito dalle automobili, e sicuramente il rumore di fondo è diverso, ma l’aria che si respira è pulita, fresca, rinvigorisce i polmoni. A Bagnone “ci stanno” gli “elfi”. E’ matematico, poche case sparute che si arrampicano sul fianco di un colle, che è propaggine del Monte Sillara, sepolte

tra gli alberi della vallata, non le vorrebbe nessun altro.

Ma sono elfi con una tempra diversa, questi, non intavolano conversazioni col primo straniero che si ferma alla locanda, non fanno concili, badano, con ragione, ai loro affari. All’incrocio di importanti vie di comunicazione, e dei commerci più fiorenti del vino, delle coltivazioni, dei reperti antichi dei Liguri Apuani che ora solo nei musei è possibile ammirare, ci si deve tutelare.

Gli orchi possono passare spesso inosservati. La storia infatti ci insegna, e laddove la lussuria sfrenata dei signorotti dello Spino Fiorito ha portato gli elfi più antichi a chiedere il protettorato dei Fiorentini, gli stessi luoghi vedono gli “Elfi” di oggi diventati affabili padri di famiglia, vivandieri, pastori, ma anche studenti in gamba, che si informano e lavorano, ma con un occhio di riguardo che mai perdono alla vita rurale, ai valori sinceri, onesti, degli incarichi che producono sudore, oltre che soldi.

In questa Gran Burrone anche un po’ sinistra, i fantasmi girano per gli acciottolati, si nascondono nelle piazze, gli alberi dai rami che s’incoccano come frecce sugli archi e sembrano forche, sotto lo sfondo lattiginoso del cielo, stavolta di marzo, con l’avvento della nuova primavera.

Quasi si respira l’odore di bruciato delle pire delle streghe.

Miraggi, che un semplice transitare del camioncino del latte lascia dissolvere. Nelle piccola comunità di Castiglione del Terziere, Iera e Treschietto, tra i ruderi delle fortezze Malaspiniane, cozzano ancora le spade, ridono e si abbuffano i principi, i conti e i marchesi imberbi. Ma suvvia, siamo nell’epoca moderna, fatta di ruggine e metallo, e anche loro, come i più umili fantasmi destinati alle strade, quando una coppia giovane si apparta per rubarsi un bacio, spariscono.

Le antropomorfe statue stele, datate all’età del ferro, ci prendono in giro con i loro sorrisi finti, la mezzaluna delle facce confuse, appena abbozzate, nel castello del Piagnaro a Pontremoli, a Casola o a Mulazzo, è un riflesso neanche troppo pallido della luna che brilla alta, tonda, in un cielo quasi privo di nubi, in giugno, richiamate dalla loro signora e madre - la natura, solo qualche mese in autunno.

Gli Elfi di questo strano tempo moderno, non più vasai, artigiani, macellai e bottegai, si tramandano a bassa voce la cronaca di una delle più grandi piazze mercantili della Val di Magra, nel suo porticato si rievoca a dicembre, con la festa del patrono, San Nicola, lo sfarzo e la gioia dei contadini profusa nel celebrare il santo. Ma le primizie dell’orto, quelle sono buone sempre.

Non si combattono più le invasioni, ma si fanno crociate verso la sostenibilità e la tutela dell’ambiente; non si costringono più le belle figlie vergini del mugnaio a ballare nude sotto le stelle, ci si stringe la mano entrati nella cantina, pronti a sedersi per una degustazione di vini; non si gioca d’azzardo nella taverna del centro, scommettendo il cavallo, ma si entra in punta di piedi nelle biblioteche e nelle librerie dove gli echi di gesta lontane restano accuditi con affetto.

Però, nonostante tutto, basta guardare fisso in punto per immaginarsi ancora vestiti di tonaca e

mantello elfico, vale il fischio di un pastore in alpeggio che chiama i suo grosso cane da guardianìa per fantasticare di una creatura mannara dal pelo ispido, pronta a popolare gli incubi dei bambini, ci si accontenta, sempre con solerzia, di quei pochi chilometri, una settantina, che zigzagano tra le balze, andando verso l’alto, verso il cielo, verso la libertà. Ma ci si libera da che cosa, esattamente, a Bagnone?

Dai sensi di colpa. Dal fatto di aver smesso di sperare che in certi luoghi, anche inaspettati, sopravvivono le creature fantastiche, le leggende di

dame, stregoni e fatture eseguite ad arte da nonne che si celano tra le massaie del paese, mani impastate di farina e dita robuste che sgranano baccelli.

Quando si supera il ponte sopra Il torrente Bagnone, dove l’occhio spazia e vede solo il verde, nel mantello della sua sposa, la montagna, si è obbligati a dismettere i panni dei ricchi uomini d’affari per tornare un po’ più fiduciosi, magari pure un po’ bambini, e sotterrare quel senso di colpa cocente che si trasforma ben presto in stupore e meraviglia.

La meraviglia di aver viaggiato nel tempo.

Immersa tra le verdi colline della Lunigiana, terra dei 100 castelli, del fungo porcino e delle statue stele, nel lontano 1988 nasce l’Azienda Agricola Montese, che in breve tempo si afferma come il più grande allevamento di bovini da latte della zona: con un’ottima produzione di latte, carne, frutta, uova, ortaggi, vino, olio, miele, marmellate, ecc.

Dopo oltre 25 anni di successi nel settore agricolo, si decide di aprire le porte ad un turismo selezionato, creando un Eden di relax e spensieratezza con piscina e centro benesse, nel verde della via Francigena e con la possibilità di visitare le aree produttive dove si trovano bovini al pascolo, curiose caprette e dolci asinelli, galline che razzolano libere, come ogni altro animale della fattoria. Così nel 2013, dopo un’importante e lunga ristrutturazione dell’intera azienda, che ha permesso di creare ogni comfort per l’ospite senza contaminare la natura circostante, nasce l’Agriturismo Podere Montese.

In 2013 the Podere Montese Farmhouse B&B opened its doors, after a long and major restructuring of the entire establishment, which allow comfort to our guests, without in the contaminating of the surrounding nature.

Fiera Immobiliare Internazionale di Anversa (B)

Gentili clienti e lettori, Si è appena concluso l’appuntamento internazionale di Anversa con ottimi risultati di contatti e di collaborazioni.

La popolazione Belga predilige, per la maggior parte, il mare ed il sole in località di turismo vivo e con servizi per una qualsiasi ipotesi di investimento immobiliare per la seconda casa e, a differenza di altre popolazioni, conosce molto bene il nostro territorio.

Una buona parte di investitori che riconosce l’Italia come meta prediletta è possibile e si può indirizzare verso il territorio che unisce al mare la campagna e la possibilità di una sentieristica attraverso panorami unici e suggestivi.

Anversa ha rappresentato per noi il primo approccio a questo mercato ma da altri espositori, oramai pluriennali nelle fiere del Belgio, abbiamo appreso che si possono ottenere eccellenti risultati di contatti soprattutto su Gent e Bruxelles, luoghi che costituiranno senz’altro future tappe nel cammino del nostro progetto di comunicazione.

Come succede con il mercato Russo anche qui la concorrenza con i Paesi della Penisola Iberica e con la Grecia, che hanno caratteristiche simili al nostro Paese, è molto forte, e dovuta sia ad un mercato di prezzi completamente svalutato dalla bolla immobiliare spagnola, che propone immobili a prezzi altamente competitivi, che alla crisi attuale della Grecia, anch’essa, alle prese con la “lotta per la sopravvivenza”, sta cercando di fare il possibile per riemergere nei mercati economici mondiali.

Nonostante i 3\4 della presenza in fiera fosse costituita da espositori provenienti da questi Paesi, Italia per Voi ha raccolto ugualmente richieste per Liguria, Calabria, Puglia, Toscana e zone dei Laghi che inoltrerà direttamente agli aderenti al progetto editoriale.

Oltre a ciò, la società organizzatrice di queste Fiere Immobiliari, sempre attenta a ottenere più informazione possibile da tutti i paesi del Mediterraneo, ci ha incaricato di svolgere un marketing presso tutti i nostri clienti al fine di creare un vero e proprio Padiglione Italiano nella prossima fiera di Bruxelles, che si terrà dal 25 al 27 / 09 / 2015, garantendoci per questa prima volta notevoli vantaggi e sconti per tutti i nostri clienti che vorranno partecipare in rappresentanza delle maggiori regioni turistiche italiane.
