Lions help out Chembe flood victims By NATION REPORTER

IONS Club International has donated relief supplies worth K200, 000 to Chembe Constituency in Luapula Province which suffered flooding due to heavy rains. This gesture was coordinated by Chembe Member of Parliament Sebastian Kopulande who is also a member of the Lions Club. Lion Sanjay Balid, Governor of Lions District 413 accompanied by a high-powered delegation from the District, handed over the supplies yesterday. The donated items included mealie meal, cooking oil, blankets,

chlorine and mosquito nets all valued at approximately K200, 000. Mr Kopulande thanked the Lions Club International for coming to the rescue of Chembe residents. Mr Kopulande was joined by Luapula Province Minister Nickson Chilangwa in flagging off the distribution of the donation. DONATION

The donated items included mealie meal, cooking oil, blankets, chlorine and mosquito nets all valued at approximately K200, 000.

Luapula Province Minister Nick'son Chilangwa officiated at the official handover of the donation.
