HE Financial Intelligence Centre should be reformed into an investigative wing that goes after externalised funds to ensure that people do not hide money in safe havens, former consular general to China, Robert Kalimi has said. Mr Kalimi believes that there are many cases of huge amounts of money externalized illegally which the FIC, if empowered as an investigative wing, could probe and ensure such money was brought.
