HAPPY ST PATTYS AND PI DAY SEASON GUYS!! March signifies the transition into warmer weather (Despite all the rain recently..) and I could not be happier. Although as AP Exams approach, I’m excited for spring break to be so soon!! Make sure you guys are LOCKED IN FOR SCHOOL, and are studying and reviewing for midterms!! Your studies may seem stressful, but we are almost at the finish line so it’s best to end off strong! As always, know your support system and always put your mental health first. During the week of Valentine’s Day, we took the time to write heartfelt cards to our school faculty as a token of our appreciation for their hard work, dedication, and unwavering support. Their efforts often go unnoticed, but they are the backbone of our school community, making it a better place for all of us. From teachers to administrators and staff, each of them plays a crucial role in shaping our experiences and helping us grow. Our school wouldn’t be as amazing as it is without their commitment and passion, and we are truly grateful for everything they do! ��

It’s that time of year Key Club board elections are coming up! Right now, we’re making sure members know what each position does so they can decide if they want to run or who they want to vote for. We’ve been sharing background info on the roles, answering questions, and helping everyone understand what it means to be on the board The actual elections will be held in the last week of March through Google Forms, where members will vote for their next board Candidates will also give a short speech to introduce themselves and explain why they’re running To get more members involved, we’re hosting an election info session at next week’s meeting complete with free donuts!

The Track Meet took place on March 7 and was a significant event that supported Taft’s track and cross country teams. Volunteers assisted with various tasks, including setting up hurdles and organizing other track-related events to ensure everything ran smoothly Taft Key Club members were among the dedicated volunteers who contributed their time and effort to make the event a success Not only was the meet an exciting and engaging experience, but it also provided a fresh perspective on the value of volunteering within the school community

Apply to participate in the DCON Service Expo TODAY! You will have the chance to further expand your knowledge of service to others across CNH while being able to share a successful project you’ve done! Of course, You MUST be attending DCON 2025 from April 25th-27th in order to participate in the service expo. The deadline for you to showcase your project is MARCH 23RD, BY 6 PM PST/3 PM HST.
DCON REGISTRATION IS STILL OPEN AND CLOSES THIS MONTH! District Convention will be from April 25th27th in Ontario! All information on the District Convention can be found on the CNH website and @cnh dcon on Instagram. However, ONLY LATE registration is available until April 1st and is $305. If you are still interested in attending, MESSAGE TAYE ASAP! Booking hotels with be imperative and needs to be done through advisors, so please let him know if you are interested in attending!
