PREP TALK & AOC Though AOC’s Key Club has yet to be chartered, we are busy as ever with preparations for the school year. The club president Jasmine Gawra and the rest of the board has been working alongside our advisor Dr. Wayne Shapiro to sort out meeting schedules, events, and what we need to do to make Key Club a success at
AOC. Though we have not started up officially, we know we can rely on our student body and potential members for their part, for everyone is hungry for opportunities like this at AOC. In preparation for the club elections in the fall, many students have already reached out to us in regards to student leadership. One student who have par-
ticipated in Key Club at her old high school wants to get back into the club as an editor. Nearly a third of 150 attendees at our first unofficial meeting back in May emailed us about elections in this summer and it is the evidence of the excitement AOC has for the start of Key Club.
