HELLO UNICORNS! I hope that you have been doing well this past month. I cannot believe that our 17-18 term is almost over. Although it is bittersweet to say goodbye, I know that Division 16 North is in good hands. If you do not know already, our Lt. Governor elect, Evelyn Kong, is an amazing leader who will bring our division to greater heights.

I hope that all of you are excited for future events like DCON! Let's all go on a Service Safari and discover new adventures along the way. Make sure to stay on the lookout for more information on service events and socials for the month of March. With love, Lt. Governor Nikki

valentine cards By: Franz Eugenio (Golden Valley)

Towards the end of January, Golden Valley Key Club hosted another rush week for the key club members that lack in community service hours. Jerry Calderon had an amazing idea in which the club members would create valentine cards for the upcoming holiday. These valentine cards would be sent to the children in hospitals. Our purpose was to send these valentine cards to display how the children aren’t alone and that we think about them even though we were complete strangers. With the rush week being announced, many of our members attended especially Andrew Oh. Our dedicated member, Andrew Oh, has made over 20+ valentine cards that are stitched with yarn. These yarn created many symbols such as hearts and the words “Happy Valentines Day.” He has created this valentine cards within his own time at home and w are grateful for his contribution. With so many valentine cards it made others to become creative in their own way. From creating memes and writing out puns, Golden Valley Key Club was able to create a huge amount of valentine cards.

first meeting of 2018 By: Luis Lopez (Vaughn) The meeting started a little after the beginning of lunch. We greeted the members, as always, and welcomed them back. After, we got straight to business. First thing up on list to discuss was our club social. The details of the event were said and a count of how many were taken.

Next, was Keychella. Even though not all the details were given to us, we wanted to give the members a heads up on the date and hopefully that would allow them to add that to their schedule. Lastly, because of the large amounts of inactive members we have. The Vice President reminder the duties that needed to be done in the club and for out club. Through this we hoped to motivate them into becoming more active and enthusiastic about Key Club and how fun it can be. Then members were sent off to eat in the meeting room or attend to any other place they needed to be. In the coming months we hope to have more active members and potential officers
