Welcome to the Spring edition of our Cynnal y Cardi Newsletter, over the next few pages we bring you the latest news on our programmes of projects delivered here in Ceredigion. The Ceredigion Economic Strategy 2020-2035 sets out how we will work together towards achieving strong, sustainable and more resilient economic growth for Ceredigion, created and shared by all.
The Ceredigion Corporate Plan has identified boosting the economy as the number one priority for Ceredigion County Council, because we realise the need to tackle some of the challenges we have to provide our people and enterprises with the opportunities to grow and thrive here in Ceredigion.
The Ceredigion Economic Strategy is a framework for building a collaborative approach to develop an ambitious, resilient and unique Ceredigion, where people can see a clear future for themselves. The delivery of the Strategy sits within the Growth and Enterprise structure of Ceredigion County Council with the Cynnal y Cardi team delivering project activity on the ground. The UK Shared Prosperity Fund programme provides three years funding for local investment The Mid Wales Region has been allocated £42 million from 1st April 2022 to 31st March 2025 and £14 million allocated to Ceredigion The primary goal of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund is to build pride in place and increase life chances across the UK. This aligns with Levelling Up White Paper missions, particularly: ‘By 2030, pride in place, such as people’s satisfaction with their town centre and engagement in local culture and community, will have risen in every area of the UK, with the gap between the top performing and other areas closing.’
The successful UKSPF applications in Ceredigion are published on the Ceredigion website, visit here to see the full list We are very pleased to announce that the successful projects are in full swing and are already making a difference to Ceredigion Communities. This newsletter issue will highlight some of the projects that the Cynnal y Cardi team administrate and deliver.
A project making a daily difference to young peoples lives in Cardigan, Ceredigion is Reverb by AREA43 which is funded by UKSPF. At our recent Cynnal y Cardi Partnership meeting, we had the pleasure of meeting Lisa Head, Communications & Engagement Manager for AREA 43 and one of the young people, Taylor that has been through the Reverb programme and heard first hand how the project has helped her
Reverb is Area 43’s youth-led charity, which was established in1996 to provide information, support and training to young people in Cardigan Their mission, to empower and support young people’s rights to access local, high-quality, evidence-informed advice, counselling and support services to improve their life opportunities for a better future. AREA43 work in partnership with young people and others to promote the development of free, young people-centred, needs-led service and believe every person deserves the opportunity to realise their potential, whatever their life circumstances
All young people should have somewhere to turn to and someone to talk to, wherever and whenever they are in need. Their work is underpinned by their values, placing Area 43 clients at the heart of all they do AREA43 pride themselves on delivering the best service they can by being
AREA43 constantly consult with young people, but during the COVID lockdowns in early 2021, the organisation undertook a significant online consultation to establish the shape of its future services
Young people told them of their needs;
A relaxed meeting space which is safe, friendly, inclusive and tolerant
A wider age range to include younger people
A place for all young people from all social and cultural backgrounds to engage in social interaction with their peers in a safe and supportive drug and alcohol-free environment
A location for relaxation, recreation and entertainment.
A site for information, signposting to services or even direct care / service provision.
A place where young people can develop good quality relationships with their peers and with adults.
An informal, educative space for young people to learn life skills and improve their employment opportunities
Autonomy and involvement in what happens in the space.
So, with that in mind, they looked at the possibility of finding a venue for a youth café that would provide a safe, dedicated, quality meeting space for young people to do all those things. They were fortunate that the old Pendre Art Building became available around this time as a fully equipped café space. Thanks to their Trustees and some very vigorous Grant Funding applications, they were able to purchase the building in March 2021. Depot is based in Cardigan town centre, and it is open from 1-7 pm Monday to Saturday for 14 - 25-year-olds, and Saturday mornings for transitions for 11 - 13-year-olds. AREA 43 see in the region of 200 young people every week, last month had almost 1000 visits (921) from over 250 individuals.
AREA43 piloted their training and employability scheme, Reverb under the Community Renewal Fund, in which they were successful in extending the provision through UKSPF The project provides a unique opportunity for some of their more socially detached and isolated young people to access employment in a manner which ensures they overcome disadvantage. AREA43 want to inspire young people to become active community members through their projects, training, and employability skills.
The training and employment scheme run at Depot, is for disengaged young people, furthest from the job market, enabling them to gain skills and experience within a safe, supported environment
The programme focuses on the People and Skills element of the funding. It enables young people to gain skills and practical experience within a safe, supported environment Making their prospects within the wider economy more accessible by empowering them to gain employment, and local businesses to address the labour shortage. Each Reverb participant is employed for up to 18 hours a week which includes time working within the live café environment and associated skills-based
AREA43 interventions address specific needs within the target audience, such as physical and emotional wellbeing. Through Counselling and Support Services, they provide inclusive, welcoming, and engaging, safe spaces for young people, both online and face-to-face, which improves community resilience.
During their support sessions, baristas complete an outcomes star at the beginning and end of the programme to track their progress The one below reflects the journey travelled by one of the young people. The pink is where they were early in the programme and the blue reflects how they felt they had developed during their time at Depot. Feedback following their exit interview is also included, so you can see their self-reflection too
The Reverb project supports young people to live, work and grow within their community It provides a safe, live, work environment, where young people can make mistakes and learn from them without dire consequences. Hopefully, this will enable them to gain the skills and experiences to encourage them to stay locally
Employability Skills
AREA43 also teach the team life skills; like laundry, budgeting, cooking, shopping and cleaning. As a member of the Ceredigion Poverty Sub-Group, Food Poverty Groups, Fareshare and Neighbourly schemes, they work in partnership with food banks and food growers to tackle food poverty across Ceredigion They provide subsidised and free food and drinks to all young people accessing their services.
Since the beginning of July 2023, under UKSPF, AREA43 have employed 18 young people as Reverb Baristas (aiming for 56 by the end of December) All Reverb participants embark on Food Safety, Hygiene and Food Allergens qualifications as part of the programme. Of this cohort, 15 have already completed those qualifications.
Eight young people have completed all or part of a 3-month placement One has entered employment; AREA43 have employed one as a Youth Support worker; and three have entered further education. Two are receiving additional support and training from Futureworks and Cyfle Cymru One intends to use their skills to work whilst travelling, and the other two are seeking employment.
As part of the Levelling Up Funding for their Supported Employment Placements, representatives from the UK Government visited Depot as an exemplary model for this type of employment support. Area 43 have recently published their Safe Space to Speak Manifesto.
Staying on the theme of supporting young people, another of Ceredigion’s UKSPF funded projects is STEM Cymru, Introduction 2 Engineering and Manufacturing is being delivered by the Engineering Education Scheme Wales to offer secondary schools in Ceredigion the opportunity to have a series of workshops delivered in their classrooms.
The free sessions are aimed at Key Stage 3 pupils, with the intention of helping to increase the talent skills pipeline of young people to meet future employability in the region The workshops are designed to be delivered to up to 30 pupils at a time, so that all schools can participate and fit the delivery within their school timetable Activities are hands-on,
and require young people to develop new skills, such as teamwork, ncommunication, coding and IT, experimental, problem-solving and creative and innovative thinking. Some of the workshops were originally developed by EESW as part of its STEM Cymru project, which was ESF funded up until 2023
The project is currently funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and driven by the Levelling Up campaign and administrated by Ceredigion County Council which allows EESW to continue some of the good work and support schools whilst meeting the cross-curricular aims of the new Curriculum for Wales, and offers young people an activity which allows them to consider studying Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) subjects at GCSE and post-16, and gives an insight into career options within the Engineering sector.
EESW’s previous external evaluators commented that “Activities delivered within the sessions included presentations that focussed on how modern technology can be applied to support the journey towards net zero – for example how design and computer coding can be applied to the manufacture of wind turbines ”
Pupils at Ysgol Henry Richard, Tregaron will be undertaking workshops over two days where they will learn to code a BBC micro:bit to control a buggy and undertake a series of tasks.
They will work in groups of 2 or 3 and at the end of the workshop will understand basic coding principles, and will have considered parameters such as timing, distance and loops. Workshops are designed to end with a competition element so that pupils can share their skills and knowledge, which also creates a sense of achievement
A secondary school in Ceredigion previously commented that “EESW have enabled a lot of pupils to have a lot of new experiences and insights into STEM ”
EESW are reaching out to schools to book sessions following the school’s Easter holidays from April 2024 EESW understands the difficulties that schools face in being able to bring students outside the classroom, and therefore the sessions can be adapted to be delivered as part of the timetabled classes, or even as STEM clubs or after-school activity.
Activities are also designed to be inclusive, so that they can be tailored to a range of needs of individuals within a classroom setting To book one of the workshops, schools should complete a booking form or can contact EESW on info@stemcymru org uk for more information
Antur Cymru have been busy supporting businesses within the County providing advice, workshops and shop spaces to existing businesses as well as new businesses through UKSPF. NATASHA Osinga has enjoyed a sweet start to life in business with the support of Antur Cymru Enterprise When Yum Yum traditional sweet shop in Cardigan shut down in September, there was sadness among loyal customers. The family business was founded by the Osinga family in 2001 and became a popular part of the high street for more than two decades.
And now it’s back, with the original owners’ granddaughter Natasha at the helm. She called on Antur Cymru, based in Newcastle Emlyn, for help to reopen the beloved store and was given guidance and advice by business advisor Barry Morgan as part of the Cymorth Busnes Lleol / Local Business Support programme, which is funded by UK Government and driven by Levelling-Up via Ceredigion County Council As well as successfully applying for a Start-Up Loan to install new fixtures and fittings, purchase stock and secure new suppliers, Natasha has now taken on five permanent and seasonal staff
Just a few weeks into life at Yum Yum, she is thrilled with the response: “It’s busier than I ever expected, since the opening day it’s been absolutely non-stop!” said Natasha. “As the store has been in the family so long, I really didn’t want to see it empty or run by someone else, so it was brilliant to be able to bring it back to life “Thanks so much to everyone who has shown myself and Yum Yum so much support, I am so grateful and look forward to many more years here in Cardigan ”
With the backing of her family, the mum-of-three said she would not have been able to realise her vision without the help of Antur Cymru. “They were amazing, especially Barry who guided me through the whole process, which was vital as it’s not something I had any experience of before,” said Natasha. I’m already diversifying, and we’ve had bookings to supply for parties and weddings, so that’s an area I hope to grow in the months ahead, as well as introducing exciting new sweets and treats for our customers “I feel more confident, and we are in a good place, so I’m excited for the future.”
Barry added: “It was a pleasure to be able to guide Natasha from her initial interest in taking on the business through to the opening day, which was a real celebration “We are pleased to have been able to support her on this amazing journey, and other traders on the bustling Cardigan high street, which has really come to life since the new year “As an organisation we are committed to helping business owners, entrepreneurs and anyone with a germ of an idea, and have the tools and resources to help make their dreams a reality – that was certainly the case here, congratulations Natasha!”

‘Caru Llanbed’ along with the support of Lampeter Town Council recently organised a showcase event that took place at the Black Lion Hotel in Lampeter, where locals, businesses and organisations came together An overall successful event A great networking opportunity to discuss funding and volunteering possibilities, amongst other topics
The Cynal y Cardi Fund closed it’s application proccess for both funds on the 25th of March 2024 at 11:59pm Both business and community fund has prooven to be very popular and the team inundated by applications. Each application will now be checked for eligibility and that all supporting documents are enclosed before being arranged and handed over for the panel proccess. The Cynnal y Cardi Team working diligently on the applications are;
One application that has been awarded for the Cynnal y Cardi Fund is Wern Mill Caravan Park which we recently caught up with.
Provide us with a short Introduction to your business prior to the Cynnal y Cardi Fund?
Wern Mill Caravan park is a touring caravan park situated just outside of New Quay in a small village called Gilfachrheda. The park was purchased by us in 2019 and it was totally refurbished and redesigned to provide 60 pitches and high-quality facilities. Although a great deal of work was carried out initially on the park, we were fully aware that continued improvements were required through the winter months of the following 5 years to make the park a high quality, highly rated establishment
As with every business, but particularly with Touring Caravan Parks, energy usage is high and with that along with surging energy prices meant the business was facing extremely high energy costs per month, placing a large burden on the finances.
Explain in brief what your business has received through the Cynnal y Cardi Fund? We successfully applied for funding from Cynnal y Cardi to bolster the growth and sustainability of our 5-star touring caravan park. To ensure year-round staffing and costefficiency, we used the funding to invest in solar panels, slashing electricity expenses by up to 60% in five years
The aim is to ensure we can fully open the caravan park for 12 months of the year, something that we are restricted to do due to the high electricity costs during the winter months
Additionally, we installed a car charging station to accommodate both new andreturning visitors as well as for members of the community.
We also used the funding to Complete the park's kerbing, as advised by Visit Wales, is essential to maintain our 5-star rating, failure to complete the recommendations stated by Visit Wales will result us being at risk to losing our 5 star rating. Our goal is not only for cost savings purpose but also an all year-round employment and unrestricted access to the park for all
What positive impact has the fund had on your business?
The funding has had a huge positive impact on the business We are forecast to make a large saving annually from the reduced energy costs (we have already seen a drop in our conventional electric meter) This saving will allow us to retain staff, remain open throughout the winter months and hopefully look to employ more staff. It has also provided us with an opportunity to carry out essential groundworks ahead of schedule to comply with the requests of Visit Wales (which in turn aides us in s star rating)
Has the funding helped your business to be more sustainable?
The forecast savings from the use of solar panels will greatly reduce the annual costs for the business Electricity is by far the largest cost for the business and therefore the reduction in that cost will now make the business for more sustainable
How will this impact your local economy / community?
The improvements made around the park along with fitting solar panels will lead to increased revenue for the caravan park and, in turn, stimulate local businesses by boosting tourism in the area, thereby benefiting the broader Ceredigion economy ‘The busier the Caravan Parks the busier New Quay will be’
Would you have been able to implement this without the Cynnal y Cardi Fund?
The absence of public funds would significantly affect the expansion and development of the business, causing a substantial delay in the establishment of sustainable and new employment opportunities within the caravan park. We possess a year-round operating license, and we diligently adhere to it Nevertheless, our ability to operate the caravan park at full capacity throughout the entire year is hindered by exorbitant electricity expenses. Securing financial assistance has empowered us to operate at full capacity, as the reduced electricity costs would yield significant cost savings for our business. These funds have also allowed us to action the recommendations made by Visit Wales which was to complete the kerbing and resurfacing of the park to ensure we retain our five star rating, something we are proud of and want to retain, however with the lack of funds, this would be at jeopardy so these funds have been essential to fuel the growth of the business and ensure that it can effectively generate jobs and contribute to the local economy
Yes, certainly. We would definitely not be in the position we are now as a business without this funding May we take this opportunity to thank you very much for your guidance and support throughout this whole process. This really was a positive experience. Your communication with us has been fantastic and we have enjoyed the process

A new funding opportunity has been launched to support the Council’s commitment to attract more international or national events to Ceredigion.
The UKSPF Cynnal y Cardi Events Programme fund for Ceredigion is part of a wider suite of programmes being delivered in Ceredigion, funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) Tourism is an economic sector of vital importance to Ceredigion, representing the third largest employer in the County and we are keen to build on this sector and attract new visitors to the area.
The UKSPF 2022-2025 is a central pillar of the UK government’s ambitious Levelling Up agenda and a significant component of its support for places across the UK It provides three years funding for local investment
The focus of Cynnal y Cardi’s Events Programme fund will be on:
Attracting visitors to the county. Applications must demonstrate how the event will have a county wide benefit, as well as possible wider regional and national benefits
Support the growth of linked businesses (indirect business benefits) and development of higher value job creation
Development and promotion of local year-round events and experiences which encourage people to visit and explore the local area. Applications must demonstrate how the event will make a difference to individuals, communities and the local economy
Support for local arts, cultural heritage and creative activities.
Events must support ambitions around climate change or the transition to a green economy through sustainability and waste reduction
Councillor Clive Davies, Ceredigion Cabinet member responsible for Economy and Regeneration said: “This funding is an opportunity to build upon the events that have already taken place in the County such as Other Voices Cardigan 2023 and events that continue to return to the County such as Rali Ceredigion Businesses, volunteers and organisations in Ceredigion should take the opportunity and consider how they could grow and develop an ambitious, relevant and appropriate event to be held within the county in the coming years.”
The minimum grant available is £30,000 with the maximum grant available being £100,000. Each grant award will be based on 80% of eligible costs. Match funding must be cash (rather than “in kind”)
As to ensure project eligibility, interested applicants must read the guidance notes carefully and send a short brief, outlining your idea (bullet point format) and a breakdown of expenditure to ce.cynnalycardi@ceredigion.gov.uk before starting on the application form.

Title: Sustainability - Why Bother?
Date: 24th April
Venue: Aber Innovations, Aberystwyth University
Institute of Directors (IoD) Wales is dedicated to exploring the perceptions, engagement, and support for sustainability among business leaders in Wales. Our goal is to understand the significance of sustainability within the business community, whether it is perceived positively or negatively, and to assess the level of engagement with sustainable practices. Additionally, we aim to identify existing support available and explore opportunities for further action.
As the global landscape continues to evolve, the importance for sustainable business practices has become increasingly evident However, what does sustainability truly mean for business leaders in Wales? Is it viewed as a catalyst for positive change, or is there lingering reluctance and scepticism?
Our event series seeks to address these critical questions and more by bringing together business leaders, sustainability experts, and key stakeholders from across Wales.
Each event in the series will focus on a specific region, examining local developments and their implications for the sustainability journey of businesses in that area and beyond.
We would really value your contribution to the discussion and to assist in shaping the future of sustainable business practices in Wales.
You can secure your place here: Sustainability - Why Bother?
The event is also open to non-members so please feel free to share this with colleagues.

Ond os ydych chi'n teimlo'n nerfus wrth feddwl am rifau, dydych chi ddim ar eich pen eich hun!
Gyda chostau byw yn mynd i fyny ac i fyny, efallai mai nawr yw'r amser i fwrw ymlaen â rhifau. O gyrsiau ar-lein hyblyg i fentora un i un, dysgwch sut rydych chi eisiau, pan fyddwch chi eisiau
Mae'r cyrsiau rhifedd am ddim ar gyfer preswylwyr Ceredigion, 19 oed a throsodd sydd heb cyflawni o leiaf safon C TGAU neu cyfwerth mewn mathemateg Unigolion sydd eisiau datblygu eu sgiliau rhifedd ar gyfer gwaith neu gynnydd neu ar gyfer bywyd bob dydd.
Yn ogystal, fe wnaethom osod gorsaf gwefru ceir i ddarparu ar gyfer ymwelwyr newydd a rhai sy'n dychwelyd yn ogystal ag ar gyfer aelodau'r gymuned Gwnaethom hefyd ddefnyddio'r cyllid i gwblhau gaith ffordd, fel y cynghorwyd gan Croeso Cymru, mae'n hanfodol i gynnal ein sgôr 5 seren, bydd methu â chwblhau'r argymhellion a nodwyd gan Croeso Cymru yn golygu ein bod mewn perygl o golli ein sgôr 5 seren. Mae ein nod nid yn unig at ddibenion arbed costau ond hefyd cyflogaeth drwy gydol y flwyddyn a mynediad anghyfyngedig i'r parc i bawb.
Pa effaith gadarnhaol mae'r gronfa wedi'i chael ar eich busnes?
Mae'r cyllid wedi cael effaith gadarnhaol enfawr ar y busnes Rhagwelir y byddwn yn gwneud arbediad mawr yn flynyddol o'r costau ynni is (rydym eisoes wedi gweld gostyngiad yn ein mesurydd trydan confensiynol). Bydd y cynilo hwn yn ein galluogi i gadw staff, aros ar agor drwy gydol misoedd y gaeaf a gobeithio y byddwn yn cyflogi mwy o staff Mae hefyd wedi rhoi cyfle i ni wneud gwaith daear hanfodol cyn yr amserlen i gydymffurfio â cheisiadau Croeso Cymru (sydd yn ei dro yn ein cynorthwyo i sicrhau ein sgôr 5 seren)
A yw'r cyllid wedi helpu eich busnes i fod yn fwy cynaliadwy?
Bydd yr arbedion a ragwelir o'r defnydd o baneli solar yn fawr yn lleihau costau blynyddol y busnes. Mae trydan o bell ffordd y gost fwyaf i'r busnes ac felly'r gostyngiad yn y gost honno bydd nawr yn gwneud y busnes yn fwy cynaliadwy
Sut fydd hyn yn effeithio ar eich economi / cymuned leol?
Bydd y gwelliannau a wneir o amgylch y parc ynghyd â gosod paneli solar yn arwain at fwy o refeniw ar gyfer y maes carafanau ac, yn eu tro, yn ysgogi busnesau lleol drwy hybu twristiaeth yn yr ardal, a thrwy hynny fod o fudd i economi ehangach Ceredigion 'Y prysura y mae’r parciau carafannau yna y prysura y fydd Cei Newydd'
A fyddech wedi gallu gweithredu hyn heb Gronfa Cynnal y Cardi? Mae absenoldeb arian cyhoeddus yn effeithio'n sylweddol ar ehangu a datblygu'r busnes, gan achosi oedi sylweddol wrth sefydlu cyfleoedd cyflogaeth cynaliadwy a newydd yn y maes carafanau. Mae gennym drwydded weithredu drwy gydol y flwyddyn, ac rydym yn cadw ati'n ddiwyd Serch hynny, mae ein gallu i weithredu'r maes carafanau yn llawn trwy gydol y flwyddyn gyfan yn cael ei rwystro gan gostau trydan afresymol. Mae sicrhau cymorth ariannol wedi ein grymuso i weithredu'n llawn, gan y byddai'r costau trydan is yn arwain at arbedion cost sylweddol i'n busnes Mae'r gronfa hon wedi ein galluogi i weithredu'r argymhellion a wnaed gan Croeso Cymru a oedd i gwblhau’r gwaith ffordd ac ail-wynebu'r parc i sicrhau ein bod yn cadw ein sgôr pum seren, rhywbeth yr ydym yn falch ohono ac eisiau ei gadw, fodd bynnag, gyda'r diffyg arian, byddai hyn yn y fantol felly mae'r gronfa wedi bod yn hanfodol i danio twf y busnes a sicrhau y gall gynhyrchu swyddi yn effeithiol cyfrannu at yr economi leol.
A fyddech chi'n ystyried gwneud cais am gronfa Cynnal y Cardi yn y dyfodol?
Ie, yn sicr Ni fyddem yn y sefyllfa yr ydym fel busnes heb yr arian hwn Boed i ni achub ar y cyfle hwn i ddiolch yn fawr iawn i chi am eich arweiniad a'ch cefnogaeth drwy gydol y broses gyfan. Roedd hwn yn brofiad cadarnhaol mewn gwirionedd. Mae eich cyfathrebu â ni wedi bod yn wych ac rydym wedi mwynhau'r broses
Caeodd Cronfa Cynal y Cardi ar y 25ain o Fawrth 2024 am 11:59y.h. Mae'r gronfa (fusnes a chymunedol) wedi profi i fod yn boblogaidd iawn ac mae'r tîm yn brysur yn mynd drwy’r ceisiadau Bydd pob cais yn cael ei wirio am gymhwysedd a bod yr holl ddogfennau ategol wedi'u hamgáu cyn trefnu a trosglwyddo’r wybodaeth ar gyfer y panel prossesu Tîm Cynnal y Cardi sy'n gweithio'n ddiwyd ar y ceisiadau yw;
Catrin George Swyddog Datblygu Prosiectau a Busnes
Rhiannon John Swyddog Datblygu Trefi Gwledig
Erin McCudden Swyddog Datblygu Prosiectau Busnes
Un cais sydd wedi'i ddyfarnu ar gyfer Cronfa Cynnal y Cardi yw Parc Carafanau Melyn Wern, cawsom y cyfle i ddal lan gyda nhw ‘cyn y Pasg
Rhowch gyflwyniad i ni o’ch busnes cyn Cronfa Cynnal y Cardi?
Parc carafanau teithiol yw Parc Carafanau Wern Mill sydd wedi'i leoli ychydig y tu allan i Gei Newydd mewn pentref bach o'r enw Gilfachrheda. Prynwyd y parc gennym ni yn 2019 ac fe'i hadferwyd a'i ailgynllunio'n llwyr i ddarparu 60 o leiniau a chyfleusterau o ansawdd uchel. Er bod llawer iawn o waith wedi'i wneud ar y parc i ddechrau, roeddem yn gwbl ymwybodol bod angen gwelliannau parhaus yn ystod misoedd y gaeaf, y 5 mlynedd ganlynol i wneud y parc yn sefydliad o ansawdd uchel, o safon uchel Fel gyda phob busnes, ond yn enwedig gyda Pharciau Carafannau Teithiol, mae'r defnydd o ynni yn uchel, ynghyd â phrisiau ynni yn codi, golyga hyn bod y fusnes yn gwynebu costau ynni uchel iawn y mis, gan roi baich mawr ar y cyllid.
Esboniwch beth mae eich busnes wedi'i dderbyn drwy Gronfa Cynnal y Cardi? Fe wnaethom gais llwyddiannus am Gronfa Cynnal y Cardi i gryfhau twf a chynaliadwyedd ein maes carafanau teithiol 5 seren Er mwyn sicrhau staffio drwy gydol y flwyddyn ac effeithlonrwydd y gost, gwnaethom ddefnyddio'r cyllid i fuddsoddi mewn paneli solar, gan leihau costau trydan hyd at 60% mewn pum mlynedd
Y nod yw sicrhau y gallwn agor y maes carafanau yn llawn am 12 mis o'r flwyddyn, rhywbeth y mae cyfyngu arnom i'w wneud oherwydd y costau trydan uchel yn ystod misoedd y gaeaf.
