Swim Tutors We’d like to thank Judy Beattie and her amazing team of swim teachers. Over the past two weeks this intensive daily programme has done wonders for the skills of our swimmers. All money made has been donated straight back to the school to help us with the running costs of our pool.

Our Captains did a wonderful job rallying their troops and encouraging their house teams. Thanks for sending your child along in their house colours.

Ministry of Rhythm Carl Homersham visited our assembly on Friday to show the children what he can teach them. Classes will be during lunchtimes. Fuse enrolment forms are available at the school office.

Staff Professional Development Tomorrow our staff complete their First Aid refresher and full courses. Next Monday Sharlene and Kim head off to a workshop with the special ed team. This year one of our targets is to lift student achievement in Written Language - On Monday 10th we are very excited to be sending 4 staff – Stephen Hall, Dallas Townsend, Deb Warren and Renee Roest, to the two day ‘Writing Effectively’ conference run by University of Waikato.
