The Master of Sport and Exercise Program gives students the opportunity to explore the movement sciences and directly apply practical skills The MSES program offers challenging and rewarding experiences with diverse populations that compliments didactic coursework Students with or without a Bachelor’s degree related to sport and exercise science can pursue advanced studies to prepare for ACSM and NSCA certifications
The mission of the Master of Sport and Exercise Science is to provide students with up-to-date knowledge, skills, and abilities to pursue careers whereby they demonstrate best-practices, sound ethical decision making, and advocacy skills for helping individuals improve performance and pursue healthy lifestyle behaviors across the lifespan

This program can be completed in as little as one year, but the average length of time to complete the program is two years
Students typically take two, three or four courses per semester, depending on whether they want to graduate in one year or two years Students typically take one or two courses per term, depending on whether they want to graduate in one, two or more years There is flexibility in the program to adjust to individual needs of pacing as work demands and graduate school are balanced to fit the graduate student’s life
Hybrid: A blend of online and in-person Seven courses are delivered online and five courses are offered in-person in the evenings during the fall and spring semesters

A bachelor’s degree with a minimum 2 5 GPA, or 3 00 in previous Master’s programs (regionally accredited university)
$50 application fee
A combined GRE score of 290 (new scale) or better with a 3 7 on the writing assessment or MAT score of 380
