HOSTED BY
DCAC is the only agency of its kind in Dallas County, working in agreement with public and private agencies to investigate, prosecute, and provide healing services for child abuse cases in Dallas County.
We reduce the re-victimization of the child, remove barriers to investigation and treatment, and enhance criminal prosecution with our distinctive multidisciplinary and united approach to these complex and severe cases.
WHO WE ARE
Thirty-six years ago, the Crimes Against Children Conference started with just 50 attendees! That year, two speakers –Brian Killacky, who was a detective with the Chicago Police Department, and Ken Lanning, who was a Supervisory Special Agent with the FBI – provided training to this small group of law enforcement professionals.
Since 1988, CACC has become the largest conference of its kind providing practical and best practice instruction to those fighting crimes against children and helping children heal. There were more than 5,100 professionals from around the world in attendance in 2024!
Our outstanding conference faculty provides an unmatched variety of workshops and case studies that address the most important issues faced in this line of work. CACC has established a reputation among professionals for high-quality training and great networking opportunities.

You may only make a reservation in one of the conference’s negotiated blocks by using these links. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information provided if you contact the hotel directly or through their central reservations agents.
Upon registering for the conference, attendees will receive links to the negotiated hotel room blocks in the confirmation email.
The link is meant to be used by one person to make one reservation in the name under which they are registered for the conference.
The links should not be shared or used to reserve rooms for others who have not yet registered.

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE DATES
A common issue that occurs when making hotel reservations is the arrival and departure dates entered. Any extension beyond these dates will require you to contact the hotel directly to add the extra room nights. The conference cannot guarantee the conference rate will be offered for additional nights you may wish to add to your reservation.
HOTEL CANCELLATION POLICY
Please be sure you understand the cancellation policy for each hotel. You can be charged for one night’s stay if you do not cancel your reservation thirty (30) days prior to your arrival date.
AIRFARE & TRANSPORTATION

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY CERTIFICATE?
Certificates will be accessible through the Conference app and eventScribe site immediately post-conference. The final conference certificate will list all sessions and credit hours received from successfully completed session evaluations. Please see important details below to ensure you receive your final conference certificate reflecting your participation at the conference and correct number of credit hours.
A unique verification code will be provided at the end of each 75-minute block of instruction by the presenter. This will be your only opportunity to receive the code so be sure you record it exactly as provided.
The verification code is required to “unlock” the evaluation for each session. Evaluations will be completed on the conference app or the conference website by logging in using the email address used to register for the conference along with your unique conference registration confirmation number.
You must be logged into your account on the conference app or website. Accounts cannot be shared.
Substitutions: Attendees who are attending in place of another should never sign in as the other person. Make sure YOUR NAME is in the system correctly.
Failure to use your own login credentials will result in another person’s name on “your” certificate.
You must complete a session evaluation for each 75-minute block of instruction attended for the course and course hours to be added to the total hours displayed on your final conference certificate.
Two-part presentations will require two evaluations: one evaluation for Part 1 and another evaluation for Part 2. Each part will have its own unique verification code.
Repeated sessions will each have a different unique verification code.
You must also complete the overall post-event feedback survey after all session evaluations have been completed before you can print your final conference certificate.
Your access to the evaluations and certificates closes on September 14, 2025, at 11:59 PM CT. After this time, you will no longer have access to complete evaluations or print your certificate. Conference staff will not have access to assist you after this date. No exceptions.
