Zambia Ball 2016

NON-UNIFORM DAY— WELL DONE!

On Saturday May 14th the Zambia team will be hosting another Zambia Ball to continue with our fundraising efforts in the lead up to our July 2016 tour. Our previous ball was an extremely successful event and we are looking to repeat that success with a very enjoyable night for all who attend. The event includes a 3 course meal, served by the students going to Zambia, as well as a raffle, auction and other fundraising games. The night will conclude with a DJ playing classic hits for all to enjoy.

CHESS IN THE LIBRARY

Y8 Parents’ Evening — 4 - 7pm Last Day of Spring Term First Day of Summer Term Staff Development Day (School closed) Bank Holiday Y7 Parents’ Evening — 4 - 7pm Half Term Break

Many of our boys like to play chess in the school Library during their break times, and although we have several chess sets we would appreciate any donations of unwanted sets or even spare chess pieces as, try as we do to prevent this, some get lost! Also the boys are keen to have a Chess Tournament at the end of this academic year and we do not have enough chess sets or expertise at present to organise this. If anyone can help please contact Mrs Tubbs the school Librarian. Mrs E Tubbs - Librarian and Mrs J Dowse - Assistant Librarian
