Life Together

As we conclude the first quarter of 2023, we look ahead in the hope of the resurrection!

Crescent Hill Baptist Church
April 2023
"The gospel of Jesus is not a rational concept to be explained in a theory of salvation, but a story about God's presence in Jesus' solidarity with the oppressed, which led to his death on the cross. What is redemptive is the faith that God snatches victory out of defeat, life out of death, and hope out of despair."
-James H. Cone

Welcome!

We welcome Kyle Adams as the newest member of Crescent Hill Baptist Church!

KYLEADAMS

Kyle grew up in the foothills of Appalachia in a city called Irvine, Ky. He spent most of his childhood at the little 9 hole golf course there playing sun up to sun down in the summers. Drinking Ale8 and eating chicken salad Kyle is a Summer guy with his main hobbies being hiking/exploring, golf, and most weekends he can be found on a lake doing water sports. Kyle works in healthcare management specifically in a space called valuebased care attempting to transform US healthcare to more of a high quality/patient outcomes driven payment model rather than volume/quantity Kyle strongly believes that high quality affordable healthcare is a God given right for every human on earth and will always fight for the patients and primary care.

LITTLE FREE PANTRY

We have two food pantries we help regularly. We have been long time supporters of United Crescent Hill Ministry’s (UCHM) food pantry, and in the last 3 years, the Mission Response Team has begun a Little Free Pantry (LFP) on our property near the Library Parking Lot. In an effort to streamline our donations and emphasize these ministry opportunities, we will focus on collecting donations on the 3rd Sunday of each month.

There will be a shopping cart in Birchwood Lobby on the 3rd Sunday of the month, where you can drop off nonperishable food items, hygiene items, or basic household items. These items will be split between UCHM and the LFP. If you would like a donated item to go specifically to UCHM or LFP, simply label the item, and we will make sure it goes to its intended place
