20 3 JULY 2023 2023 20 NOVEMBER NOVEMBER 2023 Message from the Headmaster

On Monday we had a record number of visitors from local schools to Cranmore to take our 11+ and 13+ assessments. Those looking to join our school in September were interviewed before sitting their exams in the hall and having lunch. Later in the week some of the pupils returned to join our current Year 6 pupils for scholarship assessments in Art, Drama, Music and Sport.

On Monday, Mr Harris welcomed parents to Cranmore’s first music concert performed by GCSE pupils. This was followed by our Year 10 Music and Drama pupils watching the satirical musical “Oh What a Lovely War” which provided insight into how the arts reflect historical, cultural and political events. Parents and pupils interested in the CCF programme were invited to a presentation at St Teresa’s to learn about what pupils can expect from becoming a member of the CCF.

As the rugby season begins for pupils in the Senior School, my congratulations to our U15 football team that were successful in winning the next round of the National Cup ensuring that they progress through to the QuarterFinals. Well done also to the swimmers who have qualified to represent London South at the ISA Swimming National Finals to be held at the London Aquatic Centre next Friday 1st December.

Mr Everitt
