29 OCTOBER 2023 3 JULY 2023 OCTOBER 2023 Message from the Headmaster We had a vibrant end to last week with the CPA organising the Colour Run for pupils in the Senior School. Those fortunate enough to stand upwind avoided being covered in powered paint as the boys navigated their way around the course, having tremendous fun in the process – I can only imagine the challenge of getting the boys, and the transport home, clean at the end of the evening. The Year 7 pupils enjoyed a residential trip to Calshot Activity Centre in Southampton at the beginning of the week. It was an opportunity for the year to bond, make friends, engage in exciting activities and grow in confidence. Thank you to all the teachers who supported the pupils throughout the trip. On Thursday, our Year 8 and 9 pupils had useful sessions on time management and memory mnemonics to assist them with their study skills. It was a spectacular week of sport with our U15 rugby team progressing in the National Cup, our ski team winning medals at the ESSKIA Finals and our footballers having success against local schools. I am looking forward to seeing many of you at the CPA Quiz on Friday night – I am sure it will be an entertaining event and as competitive as ever!
