8 JANUARY 2024 3 JULY 2023 Message from the Headmaster

In contrast to the colder weather conditions we are experiencing at the moment, I would like to wish all pupils, staff and parents a warm welcome back to Cranmore. We have managed to be extremely productive this week in preparation for the term ahead. On Wednesday our assembly prepared the pupils for the assessments next week and on Friday, Mr Cox delivered a presentation on the importance of community, inclusion and a society free from racism. Our Year 7 and 8 pupils enjoyed a visit from counterparts from Sevenoaks School during multi-sports activities as they took part in some racquet sports competitions in the Sports Hall. Well done to our Year 10 pupils who enjoyed some success in their football fixtures on Thursday afternoon. A number of our Year 9 CCF cadets joined some of their peers from St Teresa’s on Wednesday and were excited to be flying at RAF Benson. The clear sky and calm conditions allowed the pupils to enjoy the wonderful views of the landscape below. Weather permitting, we are hoping to enjoy some fixtures on the Henderson Fields this weekend. I wish all pupils involved in both those and the away matches the very best of luck.

Mr Everitt
