829JANUARY 2024 3 JULY 2023 JANUARY 2024 Message from the Headmaster

I was enormously impressed with the attitude and performance of our pupils on Saturday morning at Rokeby. A combination of talent, commitment and tactical awareness was clearly evident as the pupils successfully retained the Murray Cup rugby trophy. Simultaneously, our Senior swim team took part in the English Schools competition in Guildford. There were some outstanding performances and results, with several notable places and one of our Year 8 swimmers winning a gold medal in the 100m Freestyle.

The pupils from Years 9 and 10 enjoyed a visit to St Teresa’s last week for the Escape Room event. Both sets of students enjoyed the challenge and the opportunity to socialise. Thank you to FOST, the CPA and the staff for contributing to this successful event.

Following the GCSE Options evening last term and assessments, parents’ evenings and mentor meetings with Senior School teaching staff this term, our Year 9 pupils can now focus on submitting their GCSE option choices. This is an exciting next step in their educational journey at Cranmore.

Mr Everitt
