Last week we welcomed England Internationals Alex Dombrandt and Danny Care to Cranmore. They passed on some of their rugby wisdom to the Year 10 pupils ahead of their Regional Semi-Final. The boys were certainly inspired and took the opportunity to ask pertinent questions about their playing positions.
Later in the week, we had a wonderful celebration with St Andrew’s Day Mass in the auditorium. It was Fr Stephen’s final Mass at Cranmore as he will move parish in January. We would like to thank him for all his wonderful support over the years and wish him the very best in his new position.
On Friday, we were fortunate to have a visit by poet Karl Nova, hip hop artist, performance poet and award-winning author, who gave presentations and workshops to our Senior pupils. This will enhance their poetry writing skills and also their appreciation of poetry, which is a key feature of their English GCSE syllabus.
