The Extended Curriculum Programme (ECP) is for prospective South African Construction students who meet the minimum admission requirements, but may fall short on the admission point score (APS) for the mainstream programme.

WHAT YOU NEED
Minimum Admission Requirements
National Senior Certificate (NSC/ Grade 12) with:
• English (4)
• Mathematics (4); or Technical Mathematics (5)
National Certificate:
• Mathematics (N4/ 60%)
• ES (N4/ 60%
National Certificate Vocational (NCV)
• English (60−69%)/ (5)
• Mathematics (60−69%)/ (5)
The department utilises an Admission Point Score (APS) as selection criteria once your minimum admission requirements are satisfied. You have to score a minimum of 23 raw point on the APS for the Extended Curriculum Programme (ECP).
