Recommended: One of the following ELECT (4); CAT (4); IT (4) (50%)
National Certificate M (N4) – 60%; ES (N4) – 60% Electronics (N4) – 60%; Digital Electronics (N4) 60%
National Certificate Vocational
Fundamental Subjects: E (5) (60–69%) M (5) (60–69%)
Vocational Subjects: At least 3 of the following – ES (3) (50–69%) with a min of 60%; Electrical Principles & Practice (3) (50–69%) with a min of 60%; Electronic Control and Digital Electronics (3) (50–69%) with a min of 60%; Electrical Workmanship (3) (50–69%) with a min of 60%
You also have to score a minimum of 30 on the APS for the mainstream programme, or 27–29 for the ECP; or 23–26 for possible waitlist.
