The Extended Curriculum Programme (ECP) is for prospective South African Chemical Engineering students who meet the minimum admission requirements, but may fall short on the admission point score (APS) for the mainstream programme.

Your on-the-job training
You will have to complete Work Integrated Learning (WIL), which forms part of a combination of WIL modalities, such as work-directed theoretical learning, problem-based learning and project-based learning. A combination will be utilised in simulated and real situations to expose you to workplace practices and how they are used to solve engineering problems.
