ECONOMIC IMPACT The Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic partnered with the Arlington Convention and Visitors Bureau to undertake an economic impact study. In the report created by Highland Market Research, LLC., the Classic generated nearly $100 million in economic impact ($54 million in direct, $45 million in indirect). This ranks second for annual events in North Texas only to the 24-day run of the State Fair of Texas.
