Regardless of the path you choose, in order to sell a home in Scotland you must commission a Home Report from an established Chartered Surveyor.
A Home Report is a full and detailed analysis conducted by a specialist property surveyor to ascertain the value of your property as it stands. This is then used by lenders on behalf of those looking to purchase a property as part of the mortgage process.

The Home Report will also identify any issues with the property and presents them via a scoring system ranked 1 - 2 - 3.
