#CCISDCares CCISD’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Family Counseling Services: 852-7415.

Superintendent Dr. Roland Hernandez recently announced Above the Line employees. Three honorees were surprised at their work locations with the announcement they had been selected. Nominations are always open for Above the Line employee recognitions. The next selection of winners will be announced in September Administrator - Christine Sierra, Principal, Los Encinos Elementary School “Mrs. Sierra strives to make sure her school is inviting and comforting for her students. Every decision Mrs. Sierra makes is in the best interest of the students. You will constantly see her interacting with the students throughout the day. Mrs. Sierra knows that building these strong relationships with her students will allow them to be successful, which in turn, attributes to the success of the campus.” Auxiliary - Liza Esquivel, Executive Administrative Assistant, Educational Support and Counseling Services “Liza has been called the ‘cornerstone’ of the Department for Educational Support and Counseling. She has served as the cornerstone for several departments, and she continues to assist and serve as mentor for those departments. Most recently, she has been on the forefront of ensuring that CCISD staff, and staff from surrounding school districts receive their COVID-19 vaccinations. No matter the charge – vaccinations, connecting with parents, planning for major district events or day-to-day tasks – Liza is willing and eager to step up and assist.” Professional and Certified - Monica Davidson, 4th grade teacher, Ella Barnes Elementary School “Monica is always readily available to assist anyone at any time. She is always teaching to ensure that her online students feel comfortable with the content and ensure they have the same resources as they would in-person. Monica will advocate for us, help us with anything we are struggling with or take over if we need it. She is ready to help her teammates in order for all of us to feel appreciated and less stressed.”
