L.E.A.P. Ceremony celebrates student achievements
Students and staff celebrated 11 students who graduated from middle school during the Learning Enrichment and Acceleration Program (LE.A.P.) at Solomon M. Coles High School on Jan. 27. Students expressed their thanks to their teachers and parents in a video shown during the ceremony.
“I am so very proud of each and every one of you,” Superintendent Dr. Roland Hernandez said during the ceremony. “Look at what you have accomplished! Do not minimize it: this is a significant achievement. Take the the time to enjoy it and to congratulate yourself for setting and achieving a goal.”
Congratulations, Dr. Kimberley Donaldson James!
After years of determination and dedication, Kimberley James successfully defended her dissertation on Leadership Unscripted: Portraits of Female Crisis Leadership, to earn her Doctorate of Education at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Dr. James is most grateful for the insightful leadership and generous guidance she received from Dr. Roland Hernandez. She is also grateful for the unwavering support that she received from her loved ones and other CCISD family members.
