For the 10th anniversary of 3daysofdesign, &Tradition invited visitors into their Copenhagen home to experience a 360° sensory exploration of the brand. Built on a foundation of classics stretching back to the 1920s, the &Tradition collection today is an eclectic confluence of past greats and contemporary designs, encompassing sight, sound, scent, taste and tactility.
Carl Hansen & Søn transformed their Flagship Store in Bredgade into “House of Craft’, an exhibition inhabited by novelties by Hans J. Wegner, Kaare Klint, Alfred Homann, and Poul Kjærholm amidst ‘Wonders of Wood’ crafted by artist Nicholas Shure.

Our time with Fredericia was highlighted by an intimate meetand-greet with renowned Danish designer, Cecilie Manz, followed by a private tour of Fredericia’s flagship showroom where modern collaborative spaces sit alongside atmospheric residential interiors. The Fredericia showroom was punctuated with news from Maria Bruun, Barber Osgerby, Hugo Passos, Cecilie Manz and Børge Mogensen and exciting previews from Keiji Takeuchi, Damian Williamson and Jørgen Gammelgaar.

For this year’s 3daysofdesign, Fritz Hansen presented, EXPRESSIONS of CHARACTER at Charlottenborg in central Copenhagen - an exhibition exploring the immutable relationship between art and design.
A series of artistic installations of iconic pieces will expose the base elements of design through shapes, colours, light and material character, and take visitors on a journey through iconic and contemporary expressions as never seen before.

A team favourite from Milan Design Week, Karkater continued to impress with a collaborative exhibition with File Under Pop, captivating visitors with their innovative designs and impeccable craftsmanship.
Louis Poulsen’s iconic Pale Rose collection was reinterpreted by glass artists Breanna Box and Peter Dupont of Home in Heaven. On display at this years 3daysofdesign, the pieces will be sold at auction late 2023 with proceeds being donated to charity.

Stepping into the remarkable space of Helligåndshuset, nestled beside the Church of the Holy Spirit, we were immersed in Mater’s ground-breaking exhibition, ‘What a Waste.’ Here, we discovered Mater’s trailblazing approach to sustainability, transforming the very concept of waste into a pathway to the future.
Our Montana experience began with an intimate tour of iconic Danish glassware brand , Poul Stig Briller’s, Copenhagen office which is accentuated by Montana’s renowned use of vibrant colours. We then explored Montana’s flagship showroom, which demonstrated their expertise in creating playful spaces for both homes and professionals.
The Art of Weaving nanimarquina’s enlightening exhibition, The Art of Weaving, immersed visitors in the intricate process of crafting handmade rugs. Through an exploration of various weaving techniques, guests gained a deeper appreciation for the ancestral craftsmanship inherent in nanimarquina’s rugs.
The experience was further elevated by a memorable meetand-greet session with the brand’s namesake, Nani Marquina. This special encounter left us feeling truly inspired, connecting us on a personal level with the visionary behind the exquisite creations.
Opening the doors to their inaugural showroom, PP Møbler’s advanced craftsmanship and iconic designs were displayed amongst the hallowed walls of the refurbished Carlsberg’s brewery.

Taking over the rustic venue
PRESSEN in Central Copenhagen, Softline transformed the venue into an inspiring design universe filled with ]lounge chairs, sofas, modular sofas, sofa beds and more.
Vipp’s Copenhagen flagship store radiated under the sun as it revealed its fresh new interiors, curated by the talented interior designer Julie Cloos Mølsgaard. The vibrant atmosphere was further enhanced by a captivating art collaboration with acclaimed Italian artist Paola Paronetto.
To celebrate their remarkable 80year heritage, Vipp also presented a special edition of their iconic classics, dipped in sunshine-inspired hues.

One design trend that stood out prominently was the vibrant and energetic use of yellow. Designers and exhibitors showcased a myriad of products and spaces infused with this sunny hue, creating a sense of warmth, optimism, and playfulness.

Gone are the days of neutrals on neutrals, this year designers and exhibitors showcased a vibrant and eclectic mix of patterns, colors, materiality and textures, embracing a more exuberant and daring approach to design.

The presence of re-issued classics showcased a renewed appreciation for design heritage and the enduring appeal of timeless creations. It highlighted the importance of craftsmanship, sustainability, and the value of investing in pieces that transcend trends.

Paying homage to iconic pieces in their collections, many brands took the opportunity to celebrate their heritage with a deep appreciation for the rich legacy of design.
