Thank you for joining the College of Remote and Offshore Medicine in the historic city of Valletta and to be part of this three day conference filled with amazing education topics relevant to all levels of healthcare providers working in the remote, austere and wilderness environments.

Due to the historic setting and the intimate format of the conference, registration is limited to the first 75 people. Workshops are limited to 10 people per workshop - cost is additional. The IBSC WP-C Board Certification exam will also be offered.

The Mediterranean Conference Centre is a historic 16th-century building.

Located towards the tip of the Valletta peninsula, the MCC stands for distinction with magnificent views across the Grand Harbour.

We selected the MCC as the site of the first Medicine in the Mediterranean Conference in one of the most imposing buildings in Valletta because of its historic connection to medicine. The building was the former “Sacra Infermeria” of the Order of St John of Jerusalem was Built and was the main hospital and medical facility in Malta.

The sheer size and scale of the building coupled with its conversion into a modern conference centre in 1979 make the MCC such an impressive architectural feat today. The sensitive and innovative restoration won international acclaim with the coveted ‘Europa Nostra’ Award for its successful blending of the fine old architecture with modern technology.

Friday Workshops are limited to 10 people in each workshop and run for 90 minutes. €50 each or sign up for all 4 for €150 WP-C Board Certification Exam is $385 USD additional
