A former student filed a complaint against the University for what he says was a flawed investigation into allegations of “nonconsensual sexual activity” with another Cornell student. The former student — who is referred to as John Doe in the lawsuit — claims Cornell “failed to conduct a timely investigation of the allegations” and “failed to conduct a thorough and impartial investigation,” according to court documents. Johnson — who can be seen on video yelling, “I go to UVA” with his face bloodied — required 10 stitches after the arrest, according to ABC News. Johnson was charged with obstruction of justice without force and public swearing or intoxication. After receiving treatSee UVA page 5
