Wyatt Piazza ’16 Arrested For Selling Prescription Drugs Police arrested Wyatt A. Piazza ’16 for selling prescription drugs in Collegetown on Monday, according to a statement released by the Cornell University Police Department. Piazza, a senior in the School of Hotel Administration, is a student executive chef at the Statler Hotel, according to the Statler Hotel website. He participated in the SHA’s collaborative degree program with the Culinary Institute of America last semester. Along with staff member Randy Sims, Piazza won the Statler Hotel’s “Going the Extra Mile” program in Nov. 2014. He was also a member of Cornell’s Delta Tau Delta before deactivating in 2014, according to the fraternity’s website. CUPD and Ithaca Police have charged Piazza with criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, a Class C felony. The arrest was made after police announced that they were investigating drug sales in Collegetown, according to the release. Piazza was arraigned in Tompkins County and held in the Tompkins County Jail in lieu of $3,500 cash bail or $7,000 bond. The Ithaca Police Special Investigations Unit, Tompkins County Sheriff ’s office and New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team contributed to the investigation, according to the release.

American Gladiator Actor Reherman’88 Found Dead Tuesday By DAVID BROTZ Sun Staff Writer

The girlfriend of Lee Reherman’s ’88, star of American Gladiator, found him dead in his Manhattan Beach, Calif. apartment on Tuesday. He was 49 years old. “He was such a light of sunshine, always positive in good and bad times,” his manager Kathy Carter told CNN. “He had so many fans, not just of Hawk or his Disney shows but just life fans. You can’t forget Lee Reherman.” While at Cornell, Reherman gained prominence as a standout offensive lineman for the football team. After completing his bachelor’s degree, Reherman participated in the Miami Dolphins’ training camp, but did not make the team, accordREHERMAN ’88 ing to CNN. Afterward, Reherman attended the University of California at Los Angeles, where he earned his MBA. Reherman began to pursue a PhD in economics before leaving to begin a career in television and film, according to ABC News. After a few small acting stints, Reherman gained See REHERMAN page 4
