Welcome Greetings and welcome to CONVENE 2017! On behalf of the entire CONVENE team, I would like to welcome you to the fifth edition of our event and of course, to the beautiful city of Vilnius. We have come a long way since our first show in 2013, and have witnessed significant growth as a result, both within our own meetings and events industry and throughout the Baltic Sea Region. CONVENE has served as an exceptional model in uniting us all as we work to establish our region as an up-and-coming market in an increasingly competitive world of international meetings, events and incentives. We have also helped to create a number of strong partnerships and look forward to continuing to do this while making new friends along the way. CONVENE 2017 builds on the strengths that have made our previous shows successful. Our focus is still on being a not-for-profit boutique event that provides quality networking opportunities and creates memorable experiences for our Hosted Buyer community and representatives of the various parts of our industry’s supply chain. The experience and connections made at the show are also complimented by a number of familiarisation tours to select Baltic Sea Region destinations. Additionally, we have organised another promising Education Programme to encourage knowledge and best practice sharing. With specialist guest speakers sharing their insights on a range of topics, and our Meet the Expert sessions, we hope to offer significant development and capacity building opportunities that are sure to leave a lasting impression. So, make sure to take advantage of the market place we have all worked to create and the networking opportunities that await you. INSURANCE All participants are reminded that organisers are not liable for any losses, accidents or damage done to persons or private property. Participants are requested to make their own arrangements with respect to health and travel insurance.
WiFi Free of charge to all participants throughout the entire exhibition. Please use the following network to connect to the WiFi. No password is required. Network: CONVENE2017 CANVASSERS Canvassing or leafleting is prohibited at the show. The organisers reserve the right to remove anybody found distributing leaflets or conducting unauthorised sales activities at the exhibition. CLOAKROOM The cloakroom is located near the registration area and is free of charge for all. FIRST AID The first aid facility is located in the lobby at the end of the cloakroom. EDUCATION PROGRAMME There is no need to reserve a spot for the education sessions; just arrive 15 minutes before the session you are interested in begins and issue your badge onsite to one of the CONVENE representatives.
