For me, art is one of the forms of communicating with people, communicating without words. Image is a universal language for me. I love the diversity of the world and it is from this diversity that I draw inspiration. In my paintings, I want to show the beauty that surrounds us and to which we often do not pay attention: the beauty of nature, the beauty of dreams, the beauty of gestures, traditions and people. If you just look deeper, you can see that the world and life are beautiful.

Art for me is a voice to show the world how I live the life of colored symphony. Using a lot of colors, media and even an imaginable items, been a passion of mine, to create more waves of sensational art forms touched and seen also heard by all around me. My dreams translated through what I make. I love art and hopefully that is enough to show others just how easy to do the things you love and make others love you back through it.

Annemarie Ambrosoli
My name is Annemarie Ambrosoli. I am an artist painter based in South Tyrol (Italy). Embracing a new artistic vision, I merge geometry with fantasy, drawing inspiration from music, poetry, and life’s myriad experiences. My pictures give me a lot of peace and positivity, which I want to convey to the viewer. I take a lot of time to paint interesting subjects that can also make the viewer curious Firstly I love to paint using oil and watercolor techniques. The drawing is very important, I prepare sketches to ensure balance in the composition. I simplify my figures using lines, circles, and symbols, employing any geometric shape to achieve the creation I have in mind. Vibrant color plays an essential role in my paintings, bringing me joy as I paint these unique figures. As an artist, my primary goal is to imbue my creations with a reflection of my inner world – a vibrant tapestry of emotions, positivity, joy, and good humor. Through my art, I invite viewers to embark on a journey into my psyche, to connect with my inner world, to ignite contemplation where colors dance, shapes morph, and imagination knows no bounds. Each stroke is a testament to my passion for storytelling through imagery, inviting viewers to journey alongside me me into the realm of human experience.

“I feel I am useless as an artist when I am happy. Pain is what creates my artwork. The painful experiences that people go through as they journey through life in the world around us from childhood to adulthood which in many ways is full of chaos and hardship, are what sparks and motivates me to possess my objectives to make purposeful artwork that hopefully generates meaningful and fulfilling empathetic connections to people. As I observe and interpret the world around me combined with creating my artwork, I discover time and time again that true beauty lies within the darkness and that sometimes nightmares are the birthplace of some of the best ideas for an artist.”

French, born in 1951 in Royan. Miserable and atheist parents. However, as far as my memory allows, I remember a strong spiritual appetite which only grew afterwards. As a result I devoured numerous readings centered on spirituality, wisdom, religions but also painting. My two passions, spirituality and painting, were born and would accompany me throughout my life. I believe that everything has meaning and that everything is alive. This innate and intuitive conviction was reinforced by the study of Buddhism, Taoism, shamanism, Alchemy and the Vedas. In addition to the gospels, I am looking for everything that brings together and which is a common basis for different religions and different spiritual traditions. I am in search of knowledge rather than knowledge.

“My paintings are a spontaneous occurrence, born out of the experience, but maturing reflexively in the process of creation. My technique is controlled improvisation. Gravity is my medium. Images are caught with intent.” My unusual pouring technique has been developed and refined over five decades. I worked figuratively for a long time, but I realized that painting what I was seeing was not challenging enough. I wanted to paint from the inside - my thoughts and my feelings. When I saw the huge, colorful work of Paul Jenkins, it brought me to my knees. Fortunately I was introduced to him in 1979 and when he saw my watercolors he advised me to eliminate subject matter, work large and focus on color, space and time. Taking his advice, it took nine years of work to achieve anything acceptable. When, in 1988 Jenkins said, “You’re ready for a show”, I nearly fainted. A beautiful gallery in Alexandria, Virginia offered me a solo exhibit. It sold out and that was the beginning of a long and exciting career. My work is now in a dozen galleries and international awards are fueling my career, for which I’m very grateful.

FLUIDISM is the most important moment in my artistic career. It is the essence of what I am. It is all about fluidity. Everything flows. Fluidity belongs to the human being, is in our biological composition and in the composition of our society in which we all are immersed. It is about a strong communication system with its own language and infinite ways of expression. It is about a reality that finds and elaborates its nature in the liquid state of things. We are immersed in it and we are carried away by the flow of eternal becoming. FLUIDISM is a concept through which I express my artistic creed in works of art, inspired by the existence of a complex substance of outstanding properties and qualities – WATER. _WATER is a unique and indestructible substance. _WATER is the basis of life, growth and change. _WATER has the ability to regenerate continually. _WATER soothes and heals. _WATER shows understanding and sensitivity. _WATER is an accomplished artist._WATER is the most important element on the planet, can be found in 70% of our earth and in the same proportion in the bodies of humans, animals and plants – sometimes even in a larger quantity. I have chosen to use the seven colors of the rainbow and the shades obtained by combining them in all of my artworks.

Exploring the beauty of flowers I capture their images in the evening to make them look as if they are blooming in an imaginary sea. The flowers become vivid and show us the strength of plants in the fantasy sea. The pictures remind us of the old home of creatures who were born in the sea long time ago. We have memory of the birth of creatures in our heart since we were grown up in the sea of our mother’s womb. What I capture is the radiant beauty of flowers in the imaginary sea.

Christopher Julius Miller
I am Christopher Julius Miller, The Anti Artist. I am the antithesis of the stereotypical artist and I have NO talent. I only have Passion! My passion drives me to put in the time and effort to create fine artworks. Seeing improvement with piece keeps that drive alive. I feel the role of the contemporary artist is to offer a different perspective or a new way to view the environment around us. It is not what we see that makes each of us unique. It is how we see that distinguishes us as individuals.

Cor Fafiani creates mysterious, multi-sensorial, perfect and almost metaphysical works of art. He plays with different materials and colours, and yet his art is never a pure aestheticism, but rather a code through which he can communicate his own ideas. He is, in fact, both an artist and a philosopher, and as such, he guesses the most inner selves of human beings, he reaches our onthological essence. Nevertheless what is more disquieting for the observer of his works is the absolute lack of answers or points of reference, so that what is left is the doubt, the unsolved problem of the existence. That void can be filled only by Art, and that’s the only certainty Cor Fafiani seems to voice in his works.

I am an illusionist who uses a plethora of 2-dimensional symbols to express my thoughts. Interwoven into the tapestry of my unique monochrome mark-making is the unravelling of my emotional history replete with the undoing of centuries of miseducation of the African mind in the diaspora. Nuanced, yet assertive. Being a firm believer in the medicinal potency of art, I use these outcomes as a panacea in processing racial trauma.

Dan McCormack danmccormack.net
In this project I am working with a single cell phone camera image of a model nude in the studio and then dividing that image nine times. Next I reassemble those parts into a 3 x 3 GRID image. I began to make multiple images of the nude in a grid in 1967 when beginning my MFA Thesis in Photography at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. The thesis was an exploration of Set Theory math. I found numeric rules to order the photographs, not design or composition rules. I came back to grids in 1992 when I combined 24 images made with the Nimslo Camera. The Nimslo camera would take four half frame 35mm exposures when the shutter was released. With the Action Tracker Camera in 1999 I captured two moments in time but only a fraction of a second after the first exposure. So I combined two different moments ( four images ) in a row and then three more rows of related action. The final image had 16 images of a related pose. I have been photographing the nude for over 50 years, exploring different cameras, processes and techniques. From the beginning of my working with the nude, I have been interested in making an image that says something, not being just a pretty image. The idea of the repetition is to see how the repeating varied parts of the figure and objects the model holds would make the image unified and become more Interesting.

The mindset of the artist begins with observing everything that you see and then seeing things differently. Embracing that our visions may not be understood or accepted. With my art My goal is to take you to places unmimagined. To show the viewer that it is ok to dream of being elsewhere. We spend most of our lives trapped by four walls. My hope is for my art to give the viewer an opportunity to escape and to not be confined.

Eric Hubbes erichubbes.com
The paintings of Eric Hubbes are a breathtaking anthology of visual storytelling, an intricate tapestry that weaves together elements of fantastic worlds, the ambiguous nature of our time, and the depths of the human subconscious. Hubbes’s work is a kaleidoscope of imagination, where each piece serves as a porthole into a realm that defies the linear constraints of time and space. In the intricate labyrinths of Hubbes’s canvases, one can discern a unique blend of futuristic machinery and ancient symbolism, creating a bridge between the past and the potential future. The paintings could be likened to a form of visual time travel, where elements from different eras coexist and converse in a symphonic visual language. Here, the steampunk aesthetics marry with the metaphysical, gears and cogs lock into the ephemeral, showcasing a world where the machinations of human invention and the fluidity of dreams are intertwined. Hubbes’s artistry challenges the observer to reconsider the nature of reality itself. His paintings are not merely a representation of fantasy; they are an invitation to explore the myriad possibilities of existence. The ambiguity of our time is captured in the juxtaposition of chaos and order, the mechanical and the organic, the tangible and the mystical. This is particularly evident in his recurring motif of clocks and clockwork, which serve as a metaphor for the relentless march of time and the human endeavor to measure and contain it.

This series of paintings “OF THE EARTH” is a story of our planet. My paintings are a profound dialogue between our planet’s ecological crisis and my creative expression, engaging the viewer to reflect on the interconnectedness of life, the environment, and the universe at large. We are living in perilous times with climate change effects accelerating. I look at the elements of the earth, the balance of nature, and a bird’s eye view of the stunning landforms. In my paintings I use a mixture of mediums to create illuminating and transparent effects, layering oil, acrylic, pigment powders, ink, and gold leaf marker. I also work with a variety of textures such as mica, pumice, as well as pieces from our natural world. When one sees my art, I want to convey not just a painting but a story of our planet. This is the story we are writing, the history we are making, and the future we will be living.

Making art though sculpture, drawings, tattoos, paintings, installations, digital drawings and mixed media- is energetic experience in the life. Work is inspired by mixture of ideas, which naturally comes from daily life. Coming visions to the head plays a big part of creation. Exploring ideas such as depression, confusion, cuteness, chaos, humour, happiness, tragedy, anxiety, love. Most inspiration comes from different types of music, movies, life, people and other artists. Creating own world through practice of different materials- usually, trying to finish body of work to look visually in clean and aesthetic view. Often, uses multiple ideas to inject into simple structure of work. Observing contemporary moment- to create and use materials, which fits to surrounding atmosphere. Artwork’s purpose is to see how the audience reacts to it, if they communicates to the idea, which is hidden in the structure of art piece. Interested in making tattoos, because it gives technical and contextual skills. Specialising in traditional, dot work, abstract, cubism, colour, black work, oriental, black work and fine line tattoos. Likely, mixing styles together into one. Usually style replicates bunch of ideas, which is contextualise in different types of emotions and moods. By making tattoos is a pleasure to meet new people with their own stories and communications. Usually, given more imaginative creation to the artwork- to explore the idea in the own way. Tattooing prevents the techniques, such as, communication, language from tattooing into art. As well, it process it from tattooing to the art, too.

Fina Ferrara
Fina Ferrara is a Mexican performance and video artist. She started her artistic career as a professional classical ballet dancer at the age of 10. Seeking to exploit her interpretative skills, she incorporates contemporary dance and theatre into her training later in her career. Exploring movement is a fundamental element in her work. In 2010, she decided to step out of the stage and interact intimately with the audience, performing in art galleries, museums, and art fairs, in tandem with producing video art as her second, yet strong, form of expression. As a multidisciplinary artist, she creates sculpture, photography, painting, installation, and original music pieces for her work, collaborating with other artists as well. Disturbed by how human boundaries are often penetrated through interactions with others, violence, hatred, and abuse are stepping stones in her performances. Through expelling these emotions, Fina questions life and social standards, highlighting our areas of discomfort. For Fina, performance is an ongoing act of collective self-evolution.

Frank Mann frankmann.com
I have maintained a keen interest in vision and visual perception. I do believe that recognizing the value of art is linked to my experience of perception and that experience goes to the heart of extracting meaning from an image. The conscious effort to keep art at the center of my life performs a vital function of extending my perception. Most of the paintings are an extension of my interest in vision and visual phenomena. The six major groups of work completed to date have been produced with these themes in mind. The most recent group is titled the Oculus cycle. Oculus is, simply, the Latin word that refers to the eye. It is also the name for the opening of the tip of the dome of the Pantheon in Rome and it is also a term used to describe other architectural elements that emit light, including round windows, openings, and skylights. Most of the work derives from an internal model rather than from a description of objects in nature or a virtual scene, it derives from the imagination. And the search here is primarily for visual language, and thus, to create images that I have not seen. The method requires a willingness to embrace that which is revealed through working. Ultimately, the paintings explore the mystery of seeing and realize that in a concrete way, in order to make it more real or tangible. I wish to represent vision only as it might be.

What’s behind our screens? Is the natural world satisfactory or is it not enough for us? Do we finally accept natural reality or do we have to create new ones? Do we like the way we live or are we looking for something different through virtual realities? Is the digital world the redemption from what oppresses us or did it emerges by chance as a result of technology? Is there life behind the screens or are we behind them like an attraction? These are the problematic issues raised by this drawings. They act as a connecting line between the world of the screen and our physical life. With gestural design as a dominant tool and elements of artificial digitality, the drawings highlight the contrast between the two worlds, shouldering the dual role of the surface that separates or unites two worlds. Does the gesture in writing persist in recalling material reality? After all, who is behind the screen, the viewer or the drawing?

Gianfranco (John) Gambardella
Italian born artist Gianfranco (John) Gambardella worked for the Australian Federal Services for over forty years, and is now focusing on his greatest passion, visual art. The paintings of Gambardella, have a mastery in bringing his art topics to life, and absorbing in character. His ability to paint thought provoking works over many different subject matters – shows the talent and innate ability to “put you there”. He works in a variety of mediums, trying new styles and techniques along the art journey he has created. The attention to detail and his need to bring the scene to life is awesome, adapting fusion of realism, fantasy and depth into the finished artwork. No doubt why some of his works can be found gracing the walls of major corporate and government head offices. A Fellow of the Australian Society of Marine Artists, Master Artist of the ARTtour International (New York, USA), and Exhibiting Member of the Geelong Art Society (Victoria, Australia), Circle Foundation for the Arts (Lyon, France), Cultural Association Arts Academy (Rome, Italy) and Cultural Art Association (Palermo, Italy) – Gambardella is highly regarded by the art community worldwide. Gambardella, is conscious of keeping current and seeking to create artwork that define new boundaries, enabling to excite and evoke interest to the viewer. His art has been categorised between being traditional realism and more recently abstract impressionism. Gambardella is certainly an artist to look out for and consider attaining his works for future prosperity.

Painting for Gro is a meditative state of being, where she connect to the elements and the rhythm of nature, weaving dreams and visions into her artwork. Nature is her primary source of inspiration. Gro’s idea of the intention of doing art is to be able to communicate that all things are connected with one another and to the universe. The interconnectedness of all things in nature represents a deep unity within herself. She also considers her work as a teacher bringing the language of colors to the viewer and hope for the future. She likes to think of her paintings as gifts from the spiritual realm revealed after journey to the land of introspection. Welcome to traces of Gro’s vision.

Living in Stockholm, Sweden. Gunilla Daga produces art wich, in John Austin’s (New York) words, is “drown out of private experience, reaches out in universal terms to touch everyone on different levels. Daga’s paintings are connected to each other, each image being born from the previous and forming a series of works where the artist investigates not only the nature of the materials at hand but seems to push each shape to take a different form and each time bring forward a new vocabulary.”

Howard Harris
Visual reality is an ever-shifting, highly individualized experience. In any given moment, what we see reflects our inner state and synthesis of outer qualities—light, color, movement, and space. My exploration as a Techspressionist in photographic art represents an attempt to recreate the perceptual experience, with its dynamic nature and hidden complexities. All of my images are presented on an aluminum surface. In many of my photographic constructions, a single, often abstracted image is layered over itself with a subtle grid printed on a clear acrylic surface and superimposed over the base image. The resulting visual phenomenon infuses the image with a sense of dimensionality and fluidity affected by such changes as the angle of viewing and light. Yet perceptual mechanics are only part of the equation. Equally essential are universal principles of design that produce qualities we perceive as beauty. This is my aim: to skillfully combine technology and aesthetics in a way that expands the viewer’s experience of photographic art.
My work bridges the old and the new, blending classical techniques and aesthetics with contemporary perspectives and interpretations. It delves into the intricacies of human nature, exploring the transformative power of our experiences. Through my art, I seek to delve into the depths of the soul, understanding and reflecting on the profound emotions, thoughts, and conflicts that shape us. My purpose is to offer empathy, compassion, and healing, guiding the viewer on a journey of self-discovery and transformation. My work is deeply personal yet universally relevant, encouraging emotional and intellectual discovery. By harnessing the universal language of symbols and visual metaphors, I invite viewers to explore their own inner landscapes and find connections to broader human experiences. My process is a delicate combination of research, thoughtful decision-making, and spontaneous, intuitive solutions. When I allow my subconscious to guide me, uncovering hidden layers and meanings within each artwork, that unfolds a mysterious conversation between creator and creation, extending beyond the realm of conscious choices. By working predominantly in a monochrome black-and-white palette, I aim to emphasize the starkness of these opposing forces. I want to capture the tension and harmony between them, showcasing the interconnectedness of light and dark. This choice also allows me to strip away the distractions of color and focus purely on the forms, textures, and patterns that convey the essence of the human experience. Ultimately, I am a conduit of love and light, striving to bring peace, love, and harmony to the world.

Project “Man, where are you? ( “Night Visions” )
The project “Man, where are you?” concerns current problems of the present existence . Everything is fragmented in ecological, social and political terms. The earth is “notched”. The man is small and naked, confused and defenseless, represented with outstretched arms and legs apart - in poetic and artistic crucifix. It is an object-subject, center and periphery, meaning and time. The man runs, looking to find his foundations. His human nature is shaken. Embroiled in the mosaic of continuing problems, frantically seeks happiness in the maze of life . But is he able to come to his senses and find himself? Will he find happiness in this direction of search ?
The depicted scenes with clay and fire in “Man, where are you?” are nocturnal , as in a dream, as picture visions. Thematically they are derived from the heritage of universal history and culture. The monumental vessel shape is symbolic. The circle is like an echo of the ideal, like an image of Mother Earth, like the Sun. The rectangle is reminiscent of the human existence, the boundaries of time, space and corporeality.

Life in modern society requires connection and communication between different relationships because many elements are harmoniously intertwined, and we are a work of art about the growth and healing of life derived from our relationships with each other. The expressions shown in the work reflect today’s modern society. Additionally, the shape made up of small strands allows us to look more deeply into modern society and metaphorically expresses the idea of personal identity in seemingly trivial aspects of life. Woolscape (wool + landscape) images are located at the border between the reality of objects and symbolic expressions. The repetitive algorithmic expression, which seems to be the accumulation of time + hours of the day, causes changes in the physical properties of objects and evokes unfamiliar perspectives. Addressing issues of personal identity in modern society.

Jean-Paul Soujol Benedetti is a minimalist photographer deeply influenced by the world of contemporary painting. His artistic vision revolves around the pursuit of purity in lines and forms, with blue serving as a dominant and ever-present element. Inspired by renowned contemporary painters such as Pierre Soulages, Mark Rothko, and Yves Klein, Soujol Benedetti’s work showcases his meticulous aesthetic research. In his minimalist compositions, the horizon acts as a guiding line, imbuing his photographs with a sense of infinite space. The sea often takes center stage as a significant subject in his art. However, his latest works have taken a more abstract turn, incorporating a plastician and conceptual approach to their creation. This evolution in style adds depth and complexity to Soujol Benedetti’s portfolio, offering viewers a captivating and thought-provoking visual experience.

“I am here and there, at the undulating indents, contriving a thought, sinking in it deeply, to resurface on a paper before it extinguishes in the charcoaled heap. Or blend it brightly on a more rigid or softer surface. I like to seize fleeting moments and depict them. It begins blurry then focused. Sometimes it starts with a word, sometimes with an image and manifolds from within to outwards, or vice versa. Different angles give different perspectives. It captivates me to look through the multifarious reflections of a kaleidoscope. Where time, light, vibrant colours, various patterns and events, change constantly, with every rotation and twist. As nothing is stable in this life, but the truth, it impels me: The purpose of life is to seek the truth… the more you head away from it, the more it gets distorted… Distorted patterns are intolerable, neither harmonious, nor peaceful, and not even funny like carnival mirrors. From the havoc, I gather shreds, strips, and pieces, press them gently, stitch them. They coagulate at their borders, layers coalesce, unite and heal to whole. The chaos is calmed but stillness is temporary. Repeat: Movement either deliberate or rapid, is needed, for a new beginning.”

The spirit of the fragrance
My life and art are based on my own philosophical thoughts and experiences. I am interested in the philosophy of immanence and transcendence on all beings, And this means that I try to focus on the essence of life by establishing core values, and at the same time, sublimate it into my works. I look at the relationship between human and nature and the universe from a very broader perspective. I think all thoughts and consciousness are breath, The breath is the switch between the conscious and the subconscious mind, It’s a connected cycle of creation and extinction. And It’s a soul resonance beyond the time frame. I try to listen to all the conceptions of all things, have an open mind and remember what resonates. Therefore, my surrealism is simply is not just an exploration of the unconscious. It’s a question of will and philosophy, constant introspection. I value awakening and balance, and try to embody the meaning of existence and non-existence, and the nature of things in an implicit and artistic way. My art is intended to make the viewers think, but my delivery is intended to make the viewers listen to their own inner voice. It makes people, including myself, think beyond reality and into the essence of reality. As I look back on that afternoon so long ago that presented my life, When remembering the experience of seeing the interconnected nature of all things.. The flash point of all creation in the present moment is immortality.

The Boat People
Art allows me an avenue to express my hope for the world. I am a photographer and collage artist, focusing on unique floral and succulent compositions, because they symbolize my enthusiasm for using color to bring about positive changes, starting from within. The intention of my work is to make people feel better, even for a moment. I often use dozens of flowers in a single collage, a process that is both meditative and inspirational. The beauty of a floral collage represents healing, because fractions of color combine to create a new cohesive form. I am dedicated to creating art inspired by compassion, meditation and right action.
Blue Night Fog
Even as a child, I was fascinated by the infinite beauty of nature and the diversity of the animal world. Later, as a fashion and jewelry designer, I translated this enthusiasm into my creations. However, as my life is characterized by “looking and not looking away”, I became even more environmentally conscious and gave up my work as a designer and now paint oil paintings, always aware that nature and animals must be protected. As a designer, I was fed up with my diet and all the stress. Today I am a happy, healthy person and a vegetarian. It is important to me that the viewer of my pictures feels happiness and cheerfulness! If I can convey this through my pictures, I am more than just happy. My motto in life, which is also reflected in my pictures, is: “Save the earth”. We should all realize that the fantastic planet Earth is our home. We don’t have another planet, as many people seem to think when you see the overexploitation of nature and wildlife. We are only guests on this beautiful world and that is how we should behave.
It seems that Life is an illusion to be fulfilled as joy and/or pain in line with an individual’s purpose in the World. Then, Art, as a higher level of illusion, should be able to contribute to advance or increase the degree of consciousness for all. In terms of motivation, ”Constructive Freedom” is the essence of my works for energy transfer per se, since I believe that destruction is one of the biggest issues to be tackled in today’s world. In terms of technique, I try to explore my inner world for the harmony of means and ends, using experimentation through the door of intuition … Since artworks have their own paths while coming to fruition, they become separate and independent entities when completed and/ or finished…so giving them an opportunity to express themselves may be desirable. The more you get into them, the more they will communicate. Please let them speak silently and be ready to explore their adventurous music

Lavinia Longhetto
Graduated at Etching art Fine Arts Academy in Venice, Lavinia embraces different ways of artistic expression. Drawing is her main tool of work, with which she represents an exasperated body, which suffers the consequences of time and environment. In 2012, the artist founded her first social art project, which goes through different phases of experimentation and artistic expression. The graphic sign of Lavinia, a filiform and articulated sign, gives shape and expression to the body and its joints. In her artworks, Lavinia mixes influences of many different artists: Egon Schiele, Francesca Woodman, Arnulf Rainer, Alberto Giacometti. Lavinia’s photography is, instead of drawings, more “clean”, with a particular view of a surrounding world, its architectures, and the bodies itself. Lavinia Longhetto is a stable artist of Galleria 2.0. She exhibits in many collectives and solo exhibitions in Italy and abroad. Currently, in parallel to artistic path, artist works as a teacher.
Instabile leggerezza
Im a mixed media abstract artist. Im greatly influenced by abstract expression and the artists and images from that art movement. I usually incorporate a grid into the first layer of my paintings. The grid represents the matrix of our lives. The thousands of twists turns and decisions we make that shape our lives.I also use a paste that goes onto the top layer of my paintings. The paste gives the work a textural 3D effect to the paintings. My work is about a deeper introspective feeling. Its hard to describe where its coming from or what it exactly means. The paintings just sort of come to me and stay in my mind until Im compelled to make them. I think about the colours to use and the composition of the painting. I contemplate the details for days months and sometimes years. When I feel i have the composition right I set out to make the painting. I have the composition in mind but the colours are generally intuitive and spontaneous. Sometimes when I paint tits like a meditation. When I’m finished I often wonder how did I do that?

My art captures my own realities—the world as I feel it or imagine it. I have chosen Photography as my art-instrument because it allows me to grasp these “realities” in an instant, without the distortions caused by the passage of time and changing feelings. My images are captured both in black and white and color creating timeless portrayals of my imagination and desires. Although they reflect somehow my Mexican heritage, they seek to break national boundaries and transport the observers to an unidentifiable interior place of great beauty and peace.
Multidisciplinary visionary visual artist, bilingual writer, poet, Ambassador of Peace, Ambassador of Art and an influential thought leader in the art industry. My art aims to create reality and the world. In my artistry, I have developed an appreciation for the beauty of art and humanity. I explore my creativity as an artist vis-à-vis traditional and new media art, discovering the quality of using new technologies within contemporary culture. My work explores the world of knowledge and wisdom reflecting on the global challenges facing our world. My art is a mirror reflecting my soul, thoughts, passion, feelings, identity and values. It depicts my experiences, memories and my connection to the world as a universal Western-Eastern woman whose goal is to empower viewers and aspire for transformation and positive social change. My paintings conjure realistic topics and expressive figures. Using symbolism in my art is rich in its meanings and interpretation. It displays an in-depth experience of a unique journey into human psychology and perception, with the hope to reshape the reality of humanity for the better.

Marta Carceller’s painting acquires its own sign of singularity in the dialectical figuration/abstraction. On one hand, the artist approaches the shapes of the Spanish realism that emerged during the 1980s through a broad thematic register that covers the human figure, still lifes and both urban and natural landscapes. On the other hand, this entire figurative structure is stressed through the exploration of abstraction’s own resources. This dialectical condition of Carceller’s work translates into a split of the pictorial work on two planes: the representational or constructive, and the expressive or deconstructive.

My concept of linearism in my painting processes has been a significant aspect of artistic expression for me. For me, the consumer world is not “POP” but a linear process. ”I believe that is not possible to escape a”linear process”. I developed this linearity in my art in various modes of representation, which I call” consumptive surrealism”, “fencing pictures-absolute linearism”, and “extreme linearism”. I set my “consumptive surrealism” against the linear overstimulation with consumer items. Surreal picture worlds are being created with my consumer item which assigns a new artistic task to them unlike in my “Fencing pictures - absolute linearism” the lines are drawn with a technique I developed in 2009 by fixing a brush on top of a rapier. (The painting below shows an example from my Fencing pictures) I developed my “extreme linearism” sometime in 2012, where I experimented with circling lines over the drawing paper. It starts with revolving movements of the pen, whereby the motive condenses and forms into a motive. The picture that arises out of this method is a very dynamic one. This technique is the most extreme form of ‘Linearism’.

I was moved by emotion to do most of my political and socially influenced paintings “THE EAGLE HAS LANDED” was done to speak about the American-led war on terror. My painting “THE BLEEDING ROSES” was done in solidarity with Christians beheaded by ISIS in Iraq and Syria. I used my paintings “AFRICAN’T”, “HUNGER IN THE LAND OF PLENTY” and “OIL: AFRICANS’ WEALTH AND WOE” to speak about the exploitation of African nations. The Painting depicts paradoxical poverty and the riches of Africa. my work, “THE FISHERS OF MEN” is about the horror of refugees drowning in the Mediterranean Sea. I also used my painting – “UKRAINE: THE UNFORTUNATE BRIDE” to speak about the America and Russia-influenced war in Ukraine. My works progress from political to paintings of the facts of the life of people. The theme of my works, in general, is “The Facts of Life: Roses and Thorns.” Life is roses and thorns; sometimes it emanates the sweet aroma of pleasantness and sometimes it pricks and causes pains. I often use Roses and Thorns for portrait of people. I first used Roses and Thorns in my political painting “THE BLEEDING ROSES.” Since then I have adopted this floral iconography style - Roses and Thorns as my unique style in some of my paintings like “DOMESTIC ABUSE”, and “MY MOTHER, Her Majesty Platinum Jubilee: Her Rosy Reign” to name a few. Roses are for achievements and other positive parts of life and Thorns are painful challenges and negative parts of life.

From New York, now living in Ireland, I paint and draw in neo-expressionist and art brut styles with mixed media including oil, acrylic, oil stick and pastels, and charcoal. I believe in art for art’s sake and the veracity of spontaneity with influences that include DeKooning, Kline, Twombly, Clemente and Wool. I think of my work as celebrating the spirit of the ‘inner child’ while commenting on societal issues through an improvisationally eviscerated energy. I feel this expressive energy retained in the strokes, lines, forms and colours encompassing their fleeting application, yet everlasting presence. Experimenting with a variety of tools and techniques, I believe my work yields a spontaneous truth, not to be mitigated by hesitation. I subscribe to a raw sense of urgency I feel parallels the excitement of life and all its accompanying intellectual, emotional and existential vicissitudes. Mind.

Pere Ibañez
@pereibanez
Over a decade, Barcelona native and Beijing resident Pere Ibañez has earned international recognition for his emotionally-charged artwork. Drawing inspiration from the dramatic and suspenseful styles of genre films, these images seek to explore aspects of human nature that often go underplayed and trivialised. Instead, through photography and poetry, Ibañez magnifies both the falls and ascensions of the human experience through his own lens. Recent recipient of Contemporary Curator Magazine’s Peace Art Prize and Voices Of Tomorrow Art Award 2022 and nominated to multiple awards like Barcelona International Artist Award, Tokyo Art Prize or Contemporary Expressions Award. Pere Ibañez’s works have been featured in exhibitions and publications across the US, Asia and Europe; with some of his photo-books ranking #1 in iTunes sales for art eBooks. Having explored themes of domestic violence, societal pressure, racism and mental health, in 2021 released ‘Pedro’, a tribute to his late father that drifted far from the dark nature of his early work. ‘Dream On, We’re Almost Home’ share the same influences, embodying poetry and surrealism wholeheartedly. It is a deep dive into the subconscious and the world of dreams, whether they interpreted as portals or as coping mechanisms while dwelling on grief after the loss of loved ones. This new chapter in the artists career serves as a portrait in times where isolation and loneliness have forced us to coexist with our very own ghosts in a figurative, as well as literal manner.

“Logic takes you from A to B. Your imagination takes you everywhere.” This Einstein quote probably best describes the direction of my painting. My goal is to leave traces with my pictures that go beyond my normal existence. Painting has been something of a desire for as long as I can remember. Which I gave in to depending on my circumstances. The style of my painting developed step by step, selftaught. Today I live as an artist and illustrator on Lake Malchiner in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. My artistic expression is representational and figurative with a direction towards fantastic realism and surrealism - styles in which my fantasies can really be lived out. In my freelance work I process emotions, dreams and sensations of many kinds. I am sometimes amazed and delighted by the many different interpretations of the viewers of my pictures. For painting I prefer acrylic paints on canvas or wood. Peter Wall

Art is a language! Although the meaning of Art has changes several times over the centuries, and it seems at times, that everything goes and decadence has taken over the art world, it is comforting to know that dedicated artists are seeking knowledge and follow the cultural diversity of visual arts. Art is a language with an eloquent vocabulary, the alphabet permits the creaction of works of art, and every movement has its rhetorics and philosophical mission. Dedicated to studying the Masters’s rhethorics, especially the Impressionists and Pointillists, I transcended the movements and created the Neo-Pointillism. Adding to the alphabet a new vocabulary, were the Polychromy of Synthesis, expresses with the interaction, of all the harmonies and the simultaneos contrast, the philosophical mission of the art work. Art It is a reflection of society and a mirror of the artist soul!

As an artist, I’m known for my mastery of deep, obscure portraits that transcend conventional understanding. Through a style I’ve devised as “Imitated Pragmatism,” I explore the intricacies of human emotion, identity, and the enigmatic nature of perception. My work is a reflection of the complexities inherent in the human experience, capturing moments of introspection, ambiguity, and existential questioning. Each stroke of my brush is a deliberate act of excavation, unearthing the hidden truths and contradictions that define our existence. Drawing from a rich array of influences including poetry, psychology, and philosophy, I seek to create art that resonates on a deeply personal level while also inviting viewers to confront universal themes. My portraits, characterized by their depth and ambiguity, serve as mirrors to the soul, challenging viewers to confront their own perceptions and biases. As a multiple award-winning artist, I am driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence and innovation. Each new piece is an opportunity to push the boundaries of my craft, experimenting with practice, texture, and symbolism to create works that are both visually striking and intellectually stimulating. In a world that often privileges surface appearances over deeper meaning, I believe in the transformative power of art to provoke thought, inspire empathy, and foster connection. Through my portraits, I invite viewers to engage in a dialogue with the unknown, to embrace the ambiguity of existence, and to discover beauty in the shadows.
As a visionary artist, I embark on a transformative journey to unravel the profound depths of the human experience. My artistic practice is a symbiotic dance between imagination and reality, where I strive to transcend the limitations of the tangible world and explore the infinite realms of possibility. My art should captivate the viewer so that they can get lost in the vast horizons of the present. What triggers me to create a painting are the emotions I want to pass on, which is also why people might identify with my works. Instead of letting myself or my art down on the spectrum of political or elite thoughts, I want the viewer to find truth when decoding my works. The layers I aim at are way above that and deal with consciousness and the highest off all. LOVE

As a surreal portrait artist, I use watercolor to create paintings that merge symbols and vibrant colors, inviting you into a new world filled with light and life. Through these elements, I communicate universal stories that resonate within your subconscious, connecting you with the divine and the eternal My art offers an alternative view of the world that inspires you to explore more profound levels of consciousness and rediscover human divinity. The female figure, central in my works, symbolizes life, maternity, creativity, resilience, and love. She represents Mother Earth, embodying love and respect for everything around us, including nature and the urban environment, which deserve our care to create a more loving and just world. My colors convey energy and emotion, using a mix of cold and warm tones to symbolize the connection between heaven and earth and arouse emotions. The integration of the female figure into the architecture in my paintings indicates the fusion between humans and their creations, highlighting the often-unrecognized female influence in shaping our world. Through my art, I aim to capture the beauty of the universe and the human experience, prompting reflection on our interaction with the environment and the importance of preserving the natural and cultural beauty surrounding us.

As an emotional painter, she works with the inner world that is reflected in each of us. Her painting is telling a story and convey words that are giving a message. As an emotional creator playing with his thoughts, showing them proudly to the world, she combines visual and mental perception. The image is the total of all sensations, so it remains forever. She wants to merge everything into one. Forever. Creating intuitively she most enjoyes with a combination of acrylic paint, spatulas and brushes, letting the music and thoughts come together on the canvas, where the unexpected becomes the expected or surprising. Ideas after ideas assemble images like a puzzle. Sometimes the painting is accompanied by poetry or words that have found their own way, this is when the canvas speaks to her. Try to stop for a moment and listen to the colours. You see colours that speak to you and communicate more than what is on the surface. Try to see things differently, try to question yourself. What are your feelings and how do words and images affect you ? Maybe then you will see the world differently, a world that will make your thoughts dance.

Ode to the Wildness, Acrylic on Canvas, 80cm x 60cm, 2022
“Why do you paint? That’s an interesting question. At least I know one thing. Painting pictures is a Sisyphean work. Sisyphus, the stubborn worker. His curse is written in Canto 11 of the Odyssey by Homer. His punishment is to roll a boulder up a steep slope. Just before he reached the end of the slope, the stone slipped from his grasp and he had to start all over again. To me, a painter means actor, observer, perpetrator, victim and at the same time spectator all in one. Outside my studio it’s like living on the island of Lotophagen. People enjoy life under the intoxicating influence of lotus fruits. When you eat lotus, you forget your despair, your failure. The vacuum and emptiness of existence. An Example, in the large-format my Artworks, a protagonist exists standing, sitting, silent, unsuspectingly hoping. The pictures with the figures remain silent in the middle of the moment. The gestures of innocence. I wanted to describe the connection between macrocosm and microcosm, moment and eternity. I wanted a documentary atmosphere of the moment I start painting, then the invisible becomes visible. Figures transform me and wait for the metamorphoses of inspiration and message.
A painter must deliver high quality and there is no excuse for mistakes in art.

Youri Messen-Jaschin
Youri Messen-Jaschin studied Fine art at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts (student of Robert Cami). He returns to Lausanne to study at École des Beaux-Arts. With another scholarship awarded in 1967, he pursued his artistic research at The University of Gothenburg. Op Art stages optical illusions. It’s mathematical; everything is designed, down to hundredths of a millimeter, to mislead the viewer’s eyes into making their brain detect something that doesn’t exist. The image takes on different hues depending on the viewer’s position, the way they perceive it, and the impact it has on one or other part of the brain. Accomplished works of Op Art require an astonishing mastery of freehand working. He explains: “ I calculate each line so that the distances between them, or their thicknesses, create an illusion. The human eye cannot simultaneously take in two surfaces with violently contrasting colors. Similarly, superimposing different interlocking frameworks, first in black and white and then in color, creates the illusion of movement when you adjust your gaze, when in fact everything is static.” Youri makes stamps – three were commissioned by the Swiss Post. He’s won a variety of international prizes and is featured on the walls of museums in Switzerland Museum Popa in Porrentruy, Kunsthaus Zürich, Museum of Art and History - Cabinet des estampes in Geneva; Sakima Art Museum in Okinawa Prefecture and Ino-cho Paper Museum in Kochi-Ken, Japan; Angel Orensanz Foundation and Center for the Arts in New York.
