44 THE AMOS BURSARY 2021 IMPACT REPORT

Support guidance and community spirit

Amos Voices During 2021 Grant Thornton welcomed Amos Bursary students into their offices on Saturdays for training sessions. For the first time we were able to hold face to face public speaking coaching sessions for our AMOS Voices programme. We were also able to record many of the videos used as part of our recruitment campaign. Our first cohort of speakers are now ready to share their stories. We now have a network of outstanding Amos Bursary speakers able to offer those coming behind them valuable insights into their experiences. Insights that will motivate them to excel in their own academic and career journey. These speakers will become an integral part of the AMOS Outreach programme, presenting to schools, colleges and Universities as well as community groups.

Prudential Running Club In November 2021, the Prudential Angel Court running club organised a ‘run and ride’ challenge on Strava to help raise funds for their partner charities. Our thanks to the team for your continued support of the Amos Bursary.

ZOPA Thank you to the staff of Zopa, a Fintech based in London and Barcelona, who selected the Amos Bursary as their charity of the year for 2020/21. They undertook a number of fundraising activities and donated over £30,000.00. We are indeed grateful to you for your enthusiastic support.
