Academic excellence and professional development

In August 2021, we held the Amos Bursary Big Reunion. After nearly 18 months of virtual learning and development sessions, it was great to be back together again.

My highlight of last year was the Amos Bursary Big Reunion, as it gave me a chance to meet students from some of the other cohorts and alumni.

They were all so wonderful. I also really enjoyed the in-person Alumni conference. Since joining I have been to so many amazing places and had the opportunity to network with people from diverse fields, which is just a blessing. I feel honoured to be a part of this programme and I will always be grateful for their love and support. As a young woman, I would love for there to be more social events with just the girls, to create a close-knit sisterhood. I would also love for more social events within the Bursary to further build that close community.
