The publishing business SAGE Publishing is a global academic publisher of books, journals, and a growing suite of library products and services.
It was great to be a part of a group of young people wanting to make something of their life.
They focus on publishing impactful research and produce high quality educational resources that support instructors to prepare the citizens, policy makers, educators and researchers of the future. Since 2021 SAGE Publishing has provided the Amos Bursary scholars with access to research documents and publications. As supporters of the Bursary, SAGE Publishing has provided AMOS students with a plethora of resources required at every stage of their journey from Sixth form to graduation. The University students have access to a comprehensive online library of research publications, videos reference books, case studies and much more. This summer, Nowell Crooks and Keith Mulopo were interns at Sage London. Keith Mulopo said, “My internship at SAGE Publishing
was eye-opening and enjoyable. Working with the Editorial and Corporate Comms department allowed me to engage with social media’s power in promotion, glimpse how the different departments interact with each other, and contribute to the creation of article posts. The teams I worked with imparted priceless wisdom concerning the academic publishing business and supported me through the difficulties I experienced whilst at home. The other interns were also a joy to work and bond with, and it was great to be a part of a group of young people wanting to make something of their life.
