First and foremost, we want to thank you for showing interest in our program and welcome you to the inaugural Chosen Few Sale. We cannot begin to express the gratitude we have, to be involved in this industry and to be surrounded by the people that we are. This industry is filled with hard-working people, this industry still upholds our traditional values, and in this industry a hand shake still counts for something. We have been so blessed to have the opportunity to raise our family in this industry.
“The Chosen Few” was an idea born a few years ago, and we have worked tirelessly to this point, to offer an elite set of females for your appraisal. Since the inception of our registered breeding herd, we have retained almost all of our own females, offering very few for sale. We now invite you into our herd, and offer to you some of our very best genetics. The basic principle of our breeding program, lies simply on the foundation of the mother cow and we take quite seriously the maternal traits we select for in our herd. Certainly, there will be some heifers in this offering that will make an impact in the show ring, but more importantly every heifer in this sale is backed by generations of good mother cows, insuring that you see return on your investment. What a time to be in the cattle industry, new records are being set daily, and all indications look like high prices are here to stay for some time. Quality genetics have never been in such high demand, it is a great time to invest in the genetics that will propel your program to the next level.

Our operation is family run, we live and breathe cattle, and often put in longer hours than we would like to admit. However, I would be amiss to not acknowledge the many helping hands that we receive throughout the year. Whether it’s a phone call with advice, or hands on, so many people contribute to our program. There are too many to mention, but to those of you who touch this operation, it does not go unnoticed and we thank you. Especially our parents for supporting Nicole and myself in this lifestyle. We welcome, and thank our consignors; Byman Cattle, Donaro Farms, and Tiny Angus Ranch for their contributions to the sale. You have supported us since day one, and for that we thank you.
We invite everyone to take part in our Open House on October 26th, at the Ranch. We encourage all juniors to take part in the Stock Show U Clinic at 10am, followed by the Youth Judging Competition with cash & prizes awarded! Make sure to come for a great meal sponsored by Chapman Feeds/Trouw Nutrition, BCK Livestock Financial, Droptine Ag, Milestone Co-op, Bovigen and RBD Ranch. The cattle will be on display all day, we think it’s a heck of a set of calves!
All cattle selling are tie-broke, and we encourage juniors to reach out to us to identify which lots are most suitable for your experience level. The livestock have been fed with a priority on longevity, we want to see these cattle continue to excel for you the buyer. Some of the lots will be entered at Canadian Western Agribition, and we would love to work with the new owners to exhibit those animals. We want to emphasize to the new owners, you are not just buying genetics, you are buying our time, consideration, and support for you achieving your goals. We are always only a phone call away, and can offer advice on feeding, preparation, or breeding at any time. We share in your success and are cheering you on!
-Justin VanDeWoestyne

- This heifer leads off our offering, and we think she is real unique. This female is an outlier for her style, build, and hair. We think this one will show, but more importantly she will make a cow in the end. The versatility in this one is awesome, we think she is a real breeding piece.
- Her dam has been a staple in our Angus program, she is super fertile, and lends power and foot size to her progeny.
- Sired by the extremely popular STAG Right On Time 228 ET, the full brother to Good Times. We love the Right On Time calves for their look, hair, and structure. He will be making a big impact on the Angus breed, both in the show ring and in production.

SCH 24 KARAT 838
- This popular heifer hits you hard the moment you see her. Flushmate to Lot 1. She is so bold in her rib cage, smooth in her design, and angles up so beautifully in her front third. We certainly feel that this heifer is going to be very competitive in the show

DUSTY’S POLLYANNA 201G
- Powerful Angus female with some serious cow power, her pedigree features bulls like Gold Standard, Lookout, Badlands, and 316 Stunner. Of course backed by the legendary Pollyanna cow family.
- We think a lot of this one. She covers the fundamentals that makes the Angus female so exceptional.
- Bold sprung, and broody made. Revenue generator.

- This female has been a favorite all summer. Perfect combination of power and elegance. We love this female for her elegant front third and striking phenotype, but yet has added dimension and pin width. She is one to move a program forward.
- Her dam 122J is an absolute tank, she is great uddered. We look to see a lot from this cow in the future.
- Sired by the 2-time Toronto Royal Champion, Bruno.
- Note: Lot 5 developed an abscess in September, she underwent veterinary procedure September 22 and we anticipate a full recovery by sale day. She sells guaranteed that the infection is fully healed internally and aesthetically.

DAM

- Full sister in blood to Lot 4. This heifer is younger, and a nickel greener than the others, however we feel she is high on quality. Extremely big bellied and chisel necked. This heifer is like a fine wine, she is just gonna keep getting better with time.
- Her mother is identical to 122J. Bold-sprung, powerfully constructed, great on her feet and legs, with a tight wellattached udder.
- We love the Bruno progeny for their low birthweights, elevated growth, and striking phenotype.

BOE GARTH
GCC ALL ACCESS H490
JSC KATIE 49A
- Sale feature, this pedigree is stacked with Maine-Anjou royalty. Lot 7 has been a pen favorite this fall. She blends show ring, with real world. She is big featured and burly in her design, with just the right combination of style and muscle. Her bold rib cage and soft build is an added bonus in a purebred package. Her ¾ brother was Reserve Bull Calf Champion last fall at Agribition, and later was a sale feature and a high seller from our 2025 Bull Sale, selling to Donaro Farms. Turn a cow into a show heifer… We think there is some major cow power here and we expect to see her name show up in many pedigrees in the future. Study this one hard!
- Her mother has been a great young cow, this being her first heifer calf. We bought her grandmother from Jirl Buck, and she has been an extremely productive female in our program.
- All Access was a high seller from the 2022 Griswold Bull Sale. His progeny are quickly becoming some of the most popular cattle in our program. A son was a high seller in our 2024 bull sale.

- This On The Brink daughter is elite in her build. She may be one of the most unique heifers in the sale. She is wild necked, soft in her rib cage, and gets around on a wicked set of running gear. We certainly expect to see a lot of this one in the future!
- Stacked pedigree, her mother is a super uddered Game On daughter out of an Epic x Utoo 872 female. Utoo 872 is a breed legend!
- On The Brink progeny are in demand! He sires cattle with a great look, and structural integrity.

- Brockle face beauty! This heifer is sharp! Lot 8 is cool made, bold in her design, and big in her bone-work. We sure think a lot of this heifer and can only start to imagine the endless matings in her future. Flashy heifer!
- Her mother is a first-calf heifer with a great udder, awesome milk flow, and huge ribbed.

- We absolutely love this female from Byman Cattle. This red rocket screams cow power, backed by the elite 511C female of Brian Brown’s. Lot 9 hits you hard with her attractive makeup, bold rib cage, and flexibility on the move. This female has some serious potential for anyone serious about breeding HighMaine cattle.
- The Game On females are proving their worth in production, this one will be no exception.

SIRE OF LOTS 9 & 10 GAME ON

- Lot 10 is about as nice in her lines as any heifer on offer, she is powerfully constructed, sets down perfect on the move, and transitions so beautifully into her shoulder and neck. Lots of potential in this one.
- Her mother is a direct daughter of Redliner, and interesting twist on pedigree.
- Redliner was the Champion Bull at the 1990 World Maine-Anjou Congress in Calgary, shown by Bentley Gustafson.
- Game On is siring cattle that are sound, powerful, and attractive. What we love most about Game On is his daughters, they set beautiful udders with lots of milk. We think in the coming years Game On cows may be some of the most sought after in the breed.

- Check out this tank. This is one of the most powerful females in the sale, she is stout in her construction, big boned, and great haired. 516N is a great addition to any breeding program looking to add value. She’s a redcarrier which is a bonus for sure!
- Her dam 256K is a feature cow in our program, she was Champion MaineTainer female at 2024 Agribition.
- Made Man is the $50,000 phenom from the 2023 Bright Lights Sale in OKC. He is siring power and look!

- You really have to appreciate the rib shape and maternal look in this High Maine female. She is so elegant in her front 1/3, with a big sweeping rib cage, and such a smooth design. Her flexibility on the move is unmatched. We think she is one to go on and be a great cow. We have a hard time parting with this one!
- The Jameson daughters have been staples of our operation, her dam 054H is no exception.
- The Essential Business progeny have been very popular for their real-world design and volume of muscle.

- This popular April heifer has all the extras. Big hipped, good haired, big in her bone-work, wedgeshaped, and extended through her front 1/3. She is a sporty one, so much power coupled with a real cool look. She is the youngest heifer in the sale, but she may have as much genuine power as any lot in the sale.
- The Jasmine cow family has been as productive as any cow family we have. Her mother is good uddered, with added rib shape.
- First Edition was a member of the Champion Pen of Maine-Anjou Bulls, 2019 NWSS. He has been very impactful in our program.

- If you are looking for a cow, put a star beside this one. I think Stevie Wonder could find her. We have never sold a Rose before, it is arguably the most potent cow family on the ranch. This special female is long geared, robust in her design, and sets down on an exceptional set of feet and legs. We aren’t real excited about parting with this one, she will be a revenue generator.
- Her mother is a Maine-Angus, sired by Soo Line Motive 9016, and goes back to our matron Irish Rose 717E. Big time maternal genetics.
- Her sire, May We All, has made an impact on the industry in both the Maine-Anjou and Club Calf circles alike. His daughters are gaining popularity daily.

- Here is a top female in the pen. She is so elegant in her design, and has a real maternal build. We really like this one, and think she stands to have a bright future in both the show ring and your front pasture.
- Out of a perfect uddered, big stout, first calf heifer. Black Label daughters have been very productive.
- Makin Moves is quickly becoming one of our favorite calving ease bulls and stamps his progeny with quality.

- We really liked this red heifer when we were at Spratt’s this spring. She has the look and the power, and we knew we wanted her for the sale this fall. This heifer is loaded with skeletal width, and muscle shape. Great MaineTainer heifer with lots of breeding versatility for different breeding objectives.
- Makin Moves is siring progeny with added substance and power in a calving ease package.

- The Spratt family sent a cool one here. This one is big and burly, loads of power, with extra bone and foot size. Breed her to make Maines, breed her to make Club Calves, she will knock it out of the park! Not often do we find heifers with this kind of dimension, yet so good necked.
- Maternal Made daughters are in demand and for good reason, they produce! Whether you produce breeding cattle or club calves, the Maternal Made daughters are showing up in the pedigrees of many champions lately.

- This robust red female demands your attention. She has some serious power, coupled with a cool neck, and bold rib cage. For being just an April heifer she packs some serious punch. 567N is truly a breeding piece, but we have a feeling she will find her way to the backdrop.
- Her mother is an impressive young cow, with loads of body and mass. Her sire Whiskey In The Jar (Paddy O Malley x Direct Deposit) blends in an old school pedigree.
- Her sire, Gamebred 324L, was a past high seller in our 2024 Bull Sale.

- I wasn’t sure Tiny would part with this heifer because she is neat! Powerfully constructed, yet elegant in her design. This SAM daughter is loaded with rib shape, stout made, and has a real neat look. When you get this one in motion she tracks so true and free. The only Simmental in the offering, but high in quality.
- Her mother is a real awesome cow, we were very impressed with her this summer. Her udder quality and phenotype was impressive.
- SAM needs no introduction, arguably one of the hottest Simmental bulls in North America.

- Papers Maine
- As neat of a breed steer as you will find. Built for the long haul, with super hair, and a great set of runners.
- Novice showman approved
- Maybe one of the stoutest constructed steers we have
