Warmer weather is coming That means it’s time to break out the sunscreen and the bug repellant. But how can you protect yourself without all the chemicals? Mineral-based, zinc-oxide and titanium dioxide sunscreens are the answer. Don’t worry—sacrificing chemicals doesn’t mean sacrificing protection. Here are some of the benefits to using mineral-based protectants: 1. You don’t have to wait for absorbtion You don’t have to wait for the chemicals to be absorbed to experience UV protection. Plus, mineral sunscreens offer long-lasting protection 2. You automatically get broad-spectrum protection With zinc oxide, you don’t have to check if your sunscreen protects from UVA and UVB rays.
