Seasonal Maintenance Worker The City of Black Hawk has an opening for an unskilled or semi–skilled position involving horticulture work with specific responsibility for the care and maintenance of flowers, trees, and shrub beds at City’s properties and street lights. Main emphasis will be on maintenance of annual floral displays along with other landscape maintenance duties. Position reports to Street Superintendent. Must be at least 18 years of age. Requires high school diploma or GED; valid Colorado Class R driver’s license with a safe driving record; experience in greenhouse and/or landscape maintenance preferred, any combination of education, training and experience considered. Scheduled work term: Summer 2014. Hours: M-W-F 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Wages: $12.00 – $15.00/hour DOQ/E.
